Hi peeps

So I've been getting a lot of my images from CoPilot which is essentially an AI tool that you tell to create an image, using certain keywords such as "create an eve online sansha themed image" and it does it for you.

These images are copyrighted by Microsoft who have made it clear they can be used in anything non-illegal, so it's pretty decent, especially with Minecraft images and a few other games.

Highly recommend this one, all you need is a Microsoft account. It's all totally free :)

👋Hallo Ford James

I got the content material through a press kit and currently the developers have provided their respective press kits and you can get them on the official website. Usually they provide: logo, game title text, background, detailed material about the game,

for the exe and sfx materials I got them from YouTube

But if you are forced to and don't have a choice. Maybe you could try looking for references using Ai Image/Music/Maker, but I don't really recommend this, because not all countries, people or events also approve of the use of Ai in creating content. And maybe that will have an impact on the development of your channel in the future

Hi okayameji , your submission looks great, but I wanted to let you know why we've removed the links. We're happy for members to share a website or social accounts as they're publicly visible, but file storage sites can be a bit of a risk. The one you shared may have been fine, but in general we'd like to avoid sharing file storage sites like Google Drive.

That said your submission is still valid, and company press kits are a great source of assets! Thanks for sharing, and do tag me ( Boomer) if you have any questions 🙂

I create most of my content myself and have even started learning how to use music tools to create background music. My wife, an artist, assists with the visuals. Whether it's a logo, font, or a complex design that's beyond my skills, I usually turn to her for help.

While most PR agencies provide brand assets, I rarely use their art or screenshots since they're widely used by others. However, I do make use of their logos and similar materials.

For some illustrations or to enhance text content, I've used DALL·E several times. As for music, I turn to SoundCloud, where labels like NSC offer no-copycat music that's perfect for my projects.

The only real source I use for proper, third-party assets would be the YouTube Creator Studio Music library for background music and even a few sound effects here and there.

As for image assets, I either make them myself or rely on Fair Use rules. Film and videogames are what I cover and screens from trailers/ad campaign materials for film are easily useable. For games, even more options are available with less restrictions (otherwise streamer's would be out of a job).

Hi Fras_Shoyo, thanks for submitting to the bounty 🙂 I just wanted to let you know why we removed the Google Drive link. File storage sites can pose a security risk as anything can be stored there, so it's best to share websites or social accounts instead. Your bounty submission is still valid and the post you shared from Chandraliow's Instagram account has some great resources! Thanks for sharing, and feel free to tag me ( Boomer) if you have any questions 🙂

I'm sorry about that, didn't know it wasn't allowed to include a Google Drive link

That's OK, I just wanted to let you know 🙂

Once the deadline closes, we’ll pick 12 submissions, award $36 to each of the winners, and may share them as curated content.

$3 each right, hope you don't mind me pointing it out

Ha, yep - that is definitely just a typo where I've mistakenly put the total value instead of individual reward value, thanks for the spot!

Good spot, Banana! Also good to see you on here!

I have used BBC's Sound Library to get the most random sounds. I've used it for videos, games and whatever random projects I can. The best thing with BBC's sound library is there is NO WATERMARKS. I hate sound libraries that have the sound but half way thought you have someone shouting "AUDIO JUNGLE".

Sounds risky though for a lot of people:

"as a general rule, as long as your usage remains non-commercial, you can use sound effects for free, crediting the BBC. If the usage becomes commercial - i.e. if you monetise it, sell it, or charge for access to it, or if it is advertising-funded or commercially sponsored, then that counts as commercial use, and you will need to license the recording from pro sound effects.

Since my content creation hinges on video editing there is a wide community of editors like myself who just share stuff around! It's quite nice really - as long as you credit the person who made the asset you are using. Usually you'll join group chats based on interests or just by making friends.. and that's where the sharing starts! Some editors with a large following will also sometimes do giveaways of assets they have created!

I get all my assest from micosoft copilot. the advantage to this is that you wont encounter anything copyrighted or grey areas as you are using generated content. The other big plus is that when you sign up for free with copilot it gives you access to the gpt 4 engine which is normally paid for when you are signed up to normal chat gpt. plus you can get it for your phone as an app aswell.

Pictures

I don't like to use AI generated pictures, so all the stuff I use for thumbnails are either screenshots from the games or comes from the press kit kindly provided by the developers. I highly suggest to check what is available in a press kit for the game you want to cover, often there is music as well, or trailers and other video footage you can use for a review video for example.

Music

I either use ingame soundtrack which is allowed to use with the game content (this is what I did for my FFXVI guides) or there are some good copyright-free playlists on both Youtube and Spotify which you can use on your streams or for your videos. My new favourite is from the cozy game and management tool SpiritCityLofi (I will cover this in an article, that game changed my life) which has an inbuilt music player. It plays from different copy-right free playlists, so you can use these as background music for your streams and videos as well, and comes in very handy if you are like me and use this game as a project management tool, running on the side anyway while you work. Playlists in the game are from this artist:

Ko-fi / Etsy shops

There are some artists mostly on Ko-fi who offer their stream overlays and other assets for free, only asking to credit them on your channel if you will be using the assets on monetised streams. I did pay for the ones I got, and I assume most people will, but not having a set price attached to these products is really great as creators who are just starting out and can't afford to pay a lot can also make use of them. I got my FFXIV overlays from this artis:

For me it would have to be free music archive, handy to get some music to use to attach to any videos you use online, youtube instagram or tiktok, straight to the point too

I get my music that I need for videos from a YouTube channel called Breaking Copyright they allow you to use the music provided you give them credit in the video description. The channel has a wide variety of music from different music artists so usually you can find something that will suit your needs .
