It's no coincidence that EVE players have amassed so many world records. Just check out our Katia Sae interview for a prime example. But in a game filled with legendary stories, we know that some great tales don't always grab the headlines that they deserve. To win a prize in this reward, we want you to tell us about something extremely impressive that one or more players have done in EVE Online. It can be in-game or out-of-game, as long as it's related to EVE.

In the fall of 2017, another war began between GoonsWarm and Circle-Of-Two. The advantage was on the side of the latter. They had more resources and influence, and they were also able to build the best citadel in the game - the Palantir Keepstar class. A citadel of this type allows you to store and repair even the largest Titan-class ships, install various modules such as shopping centers and medical bays, and the firepower and protection of the citadel could radically change the course of the war. And given that such a citadel can only exist in a single copy in the game, its value rises to the skies. But no matter how well the citadel was protected from external enemies, practice has shown that it is very vulnerable to internal enemies. One of the high-ranking members of Circle-Of-Two with the nickname The Judge did not like the behavior of the head of the alliance Gigx. According to The Judge, he behaved pretentiously and bitterly towards other members of the alliance. At some point, the leader's behavior could no longer be tolerated, and by coincidence, representatives of GoonsWarm contacted The Judge and offered to betray his alliance and hand over the citadel to them. Without thinking twice, The Judge got to the button and in an instant blocked access to the citadel for all members of Circle-Of-Two. The players were completely perplexed, since they could not even fly inside the citadel, and then were completely shocked when the inscription "LOL" appeared above it in warp bubbles. A little later, the citadel fell into the clutches of GoonsWarm and they began to attack the ships closest to them and collect resources. For his betrayal, The Judge received 300 million ISK, despite the fact that the citadel itself and all its property were worth 250 billion, which is quite an impressive amount when translated into real money, but according to The Judge, who later explained his actions on Reddit, money was not the main thing for him. He just wanted to screw with Gigx, and he succeeded. Not only did he suddenly steal the citadel, but also Gigx's personal titan, which was parked in its hangar.

In this battle, over 8,825 players participated with 11,258 characters from 114 different eve Online alliances, now as a beta player i.e from the start, this was the biggest battle to date, the battles of Eve Online always go down in history and they are long, raging for hours and hours, alliances popping in and out over different timezones.

The limitless ability of Eve Online's fleet battles means that even a small fight can then burst into a massive capital battle which gets escalated more and more to the point hundreds and then thousands of players are involved, or a particular system, becomes the focus of two coalitions and then all hell is and will break loose with alliances moving in ships and supplies, ready for huge battles.

These battles can then range from capital fleets murdering each other, whilst this is going on, T3 fleets trying to murder each other and then sniping fleets trying to murder each other and then random neutral gangs will enter the fight for kill mails and kill stats. All the while fighting time dilation and disconnect issues, comms being crazy.

This is Eve Online and there is no other game like it.

This crazy battle in EVE Online at M2-XFE on New Year's Eve 2020. It was during this huge war they call "World War Bee 2," and like, more than 5 k players were fighting. They got into the Guinness Book for having the most expensive video game battle ever and for destroying the most Titans in one go. At one point, there was like over 5 k players all fighting at the same time, which is insane. They lost ships worth like 3 trillion ISK, which would be over 3 k in real money. Both the Imperium and PAPI were battling it out, but in the end, no one really took over the place. The servers were stressed because all the players trying to access the game. I find this fascinating that cmdrs enjoy a game so much that they make world news and make a world record! Thanks for listening to me! Godspeed!

One of the most interesting events for me in *EVE Online is the Battle of B-R5RB, one of the most expensive and massive battles ever fought in the game. It all started due to an error and ended with the CFC Coalition and the Russian Alliance* attacking the system.

Many players joined in, participating simultaneously in this battle, which was undoubtedly epic.

Over *75 Titan ships were destroyed, resulting in an enormous total damage cost estimated in real-world dollars. This happened in 2014* and was an unparalleled conflict in scale.

Many years ago CCP added the Titans as a new shipclass. In only 8 months, a group called Ascendant Frontier Alliance managed to build one of these giant ships under the highest security measures. Distractions, great organisation and incredible dedication brought the first ever build Titan to live. About 5 months after his construction, Steve was destroyed under strange circumstances and up to today, few people actually know what happened. (I'm not one of them)

The idea for this video came pretty easily, but the difficult part was to get the shots of the wreck as it is deep in 0.0. Luckily, I managed to sneak on the testserver during the last tests and managed to get a few nice shots of the landmark in C9N-CC. Hope you enjoy!
