Hey folks, happy first Wednesday in December! It’s a momentous day which we traditionally celebrate with a weekly Wednesday update post. We’re one week on from the introduction of Curator’s Pick and Just About Critter Café, where folks are settling in well. Join us as we catch you up on everything new and exciting on Just About, and keep your eyes peeled for big things coming soon!

Critter Café one week in

Just About Critter Café has been live for a whole week now and there are plenty of highlights to share. Your avatars are all adorable, you're all far better at solving puzzles than I am, and you've wasted no time submitting your best latté art to the latest reward. You've also collectively streamed more than 20 hours of Critter Café and counting in our streaming reward, which bodes well with the biggest bug fix this week… oh, and don't forget about our biggest Critter Café reward: bake something to honour a critter of your choice!

Twitch clip verification

There has been an ongoing pesky issue with Twitch clips failing our verification process such that they've been ineligible for video-based rewards for a while, but that bug should now be squashed. This means that for any video rewards, such as our SMITE 2 play of the week Elite Dangerous kill of the week, or Farming Simulator 25 adorable animals, Twitch clips and VODs are now a valid way to enter. Give it a shot!

Curators’ Pick

Curator's Pick has been in the wild for around a week now, and the content team has been hard at work identifying some of the best posts, reward submissions, and replies on Just About. Bug fixes and optimisations

In addition to all of the above, our tech team has been squashing bugs left and right. Here are some of the highlights:

• In a clarification of language and user experience, 'Original' banners on connected media posts will now read 'Verified' and have a smaller, neater profile

• Fixed issue that would cause reply notifications to sometimes not be sent

• Fixed issue that would cause some users to receive messages saying they could not connect their YouTube account, even though it had worked successfully

• Fixed issue that would cause the engagement bar to show up twice

• Fixed embedded rewards showing as time limited instead of rewards limited
