Here are a selection of my favourite feel good songs, I love that you preface this bounty with the fact that "feel good" looks different for everyone.

This is a bit of a mixture for me, you'll find some songs I grew up with, songs my dad loved. Some of these songs, especially Mr Blue Sky and Walk of Life, were very difficult for me to listen to for a long time after he passed, but suddenly they became great sources of comfort and good vibes as time's passed.

Beyond that, you'll simply find songs I love that harbour positive emotions, whether it be nostalgic, a catchy rythm that gets me moving or a song that energises or motivates me.

This might sound odd, but the playlist from Fallout 4's 'Diamond City Radio' (1h 41m) had a surprisingly positive impact on me. For several months, I woke up to it every morning and played it through my speaker while doing my daily rehabilitation exercises. I can't fully explain why it resonated so deeply with me, but these tracks were instrumental in my recovery. They helped me through a long and painful journey, giving me the strength to defy the odds and overcome my disability.

Now, this playlist makes me feel good and reminds me during bad days or moods that my current problems are just a joke compared to what I endured after a race crash.

Mine is my gym playlist! Loads of really good motivational songs that help get your heart beat up to get in to the mindset for the workouts. I haven’t added to this for a while but when I do go back and have a listen, it’s like a little time capsule because some of the songs are dated now.

So, I think I've done this correctly this time. This is our school-run music, our journey with good traffic is about 10-15 minutes long.

So me and my 10yr old son made our playlist for this. I think I've set this to public, but do let me know if its not working. Why this music? it's is full of beats, and uplifting music such as Alan Walker etc. The music itself is one of those types where you can lose yourself in it etc.

Similar to what Laura said, "feel good" is different for everyone. I went through my most played music to see what I listened to and what made me feel good. I'll admit I removed some upbeat-sounding songs with questionable lyrics, but I stand by my choices here.

I remember putting so much effort into the order of songs in playlists, making sure you start strong for a hook before mellowing it out a bit and mixing in songs with strong choruses, then closing out with a song that still fit what you were going for but settled nicely to close it out. I didn't put any of that thought into this list, lol. Edit: not a clue why there is German in my link description, this was my first time using youtube music

As I usually listen to metal, my feel good music is also kind of heavy. For me these are songs which would help me get up if I fell. So here is a playlist of my favourite Final Fantasy battle music which just pushes me to carry on. I listened to some of these when I went for a run or on those days when I didn't feel like getting up and going to work, because these songs reminded me of the fights ingame, where I might have failed once or more, but then got up and beat the boss in the end.

Playlist is on my other Youtube channel, dedicated to JA Music. Still owe you guys two concert videos... will get there at some point ^^

Not my go to music but there is something nice about lazy Sunday coffee shop jazz where you don't particularly have to 100% focus on the music but you enjoy the whole experience

There's nothing that makes me feel better than reliving the 90's. With boy bands, baggy jeans, skater punk, and an excitement for the millennium.
For this playlist I included a combination of:

  • Oasis and Blur fought for the charts as the definitive sound of Brit Pop,

  • Britney coming in hot before the end of the 90's

  • Some sappy love songs from Bryan Adams and Shania Twain

  • And of course: some absolute bangers that elevated some of the 90's biggest films - The Lion King and Titanic

Now I just need Fearne Cotton to DJ/ Host this playlist for that authentic 90's flavour

I'ts a collection of fairly recent tracks, which gives me a summer vibe sense, it's loaded into my smart speaker and this is what I hear every morning as an alarm

This is just a playlist that I haven’t edited much but added to over the course of having my Spotify account, of meaningful songs throughout my life, that mean a lot to me
