We recently launched a guide reward about critter care. For this one, we're going to look at the related topic of the place where critter care happens: the habitat!
Along with your avatar and the café itself, the habitat is the third major customisable area of Critter Café. Tell your fellow players everything they need to know in order to make it effective and, of course, cosy: what aspects of the habitat are we able to customise? What items and cosmetics are available to us, and where/how can new ones be unlocked? What does each feature of the habitat do, and what gameplay impact (if any) comes from customising/changing them? How can we optimise the habitat, whether for critter care or some other outcome?
Share these and any other tips and tricks you think are relevant on the topic of customising or improving the critter habitat. You can submit in writing or video for this one, but share at least 50 words worth of advice in either case (we'll check!) for a prize, and if sharing a video, remember to verify through connected social media!
My Habitat Customization: I love making the Habitat in Critter Café a unique home for all my critters. It's all about creating a space where they can thrive and feel at home. I unlock new items as I work at my café, and I'm always excited to see what I can add next to my little critter paradise.
Every shift at the café means more EXP and potentially new items for my Habitat. I'm on the lookout for those Blueprint cards too; they're like little treasure hunts that lead to cool new furniture or café decorations.
I make sure my Habitat isn't just pretty but also practical. I've set up areas where I can play, wash, brush, and feed my critters treats. It's not just about looks; it's about making them feel loved and cared for, which sometimes even changes how they look or unlocks special interactions.
I get a kick out of giving my Habitat themes. Whether it's a mini movie theater or a space adventure, themes make my critter home fun and engaging. Plus, playing with colors lets me change things up whenever I feel like it, keeping the space fresh and exciting.
Each puzzle I solve to rescue a critter often brings something new to my customization toolkit. It's rewarding to see how each exploration or puzzle adds a piece to my Habitat's puzzle.
What's great is that Critter Cafe lets me dive right into customization from the get-go. I can change colors and rearrange items as I please, without worrying about resources. It's all about creativity and making my critter home a reflection of my style, all while ensuring it's a happy place for my critters.
For me, the best customization in Critter Café is about creating a harmonious space where functionality meets a natural look, ensuring my critters are happy and the Habitat is a joy to look at.
Unlock various items like furniture, wallpaper, flooring, and themed sets as you level up or find Blueprint cards. These include tables, chairs, and decorations in different styles and colors.
Customize your look with a range of clothing options, hairstyles, and accessories. Change features like eyes, eyebrows, and skin tone with various color options.
Bonding with critters unlocks new color variants and traits for them, altering their appearance.
Most items can be recolored, offering flexibility.
I remember the first time i found the habitat. When I acknowledge the fact that all the area was customizable I just start doing it. At first I'm just placing things whatever it is possible but is when i understand when every zone of the habitat could have its single customization parts.
There are flowers like ice colors that is perfect for winter zone, with the snow landscapes fit very good so don't do my error in going to fast in the customization and taking few minutes for exploring all the area so you can know what is good for any zone. Don't do like me in the first run placing the ice flowers like everywhere, they're perfect for winter listen to me.
Like the ruins is very good for the forest zone with the pink flowers. The picnic basket for the beach, of course. And you go through this time after time in the best way possibile just recognizing every object how well fits in the zone.
