These are her passive and abilities:

abelites:

  1. Deadly Aspects: The Morrigan summons 2 of her copies and after the summon if you hit again they will damage the enemy at the same time dealing magical damage and stun the enemies that hits.

The Morrigan aspect (Aspect of Mischief): Confusion no longer stealth you. Now, on refire, you swap positions with your clone.

This build is a mix of intelligence, cooldown, and movement speed to help Morrigan in game play.

When you play The Morrigan you have set her abelites on quick casting. this will help you to transform faster, make sure to select which god you wanna transform into by press your ultimate and holding the button then right click in the god you chose next time you want to use ultimate just press the ultimate button and it will transform immediately.

Playing with her aspect is more effective because your 3 is just a decoy and you will be stealth. By activating the aspect you can use your 3 to run from enemies or chase them.

S

The Morrigan is one of Smite's most unique and iconic gods thanks to her versatility and her ability to turn into any other God in the game. The Morrigan requires a high level of game knowledge, positioning, and mechanical skill to master but she becomes a very satisfying character when you know how to play her. Currently it can be used in practically any role but it is mainly used in Mid and Support

Abilities

  • Passive: Doomsayer

This passive is quite simple, Morrigan's third basic attack explodes and will do area damage in addition to applying a debuff that will make them receive extra damage from basic attacks. This passive makes fighting The Morrigan in the early levels difficult since she will almost always beat you in a fight with basic attacks.

  • 1 Skill: Deadly Aspects

When activating this ability The Morrigan will summon 2 copies on each side that when activating this ability again will attack and stun enemies in an area in front of The Morrigan

  • 2 Skill: Dark Omen

The Morrigan fires a projectile that passes through all enemies in its path, dealing magic damage and applying a mark that will last a few seconds. Hitting marked enemies with a skill or Doomsayer's basic attack causes them to take extra magic damage. The best way to use this ability is to hit an enemy with it and then explode the mark with Deadly Aspects

  • 3 Skill: Confusion

This ability will work in different ways depending on whether you have the Aspect of The Morrigan or not. Without the Aspect, The Morrigan will summon a copy of her that advances forward while she becomes invisible and increases her movement speed, being able to activate Deadly Aspect without losing invisibility in the process. With the Aspect, The Morrigan no longer becomes invisible but when reactivating the ability she will teleport to her copy

  • 4 Skill:Changeling

This is The Morrigan's most important ability and one of the most unique in the entire game. The Morrigan chooses a god from the current game to become for a short period of time, during that time she can copy any of their abilities and will receive all the statistics of the god she has become. This ability allows The Morrigan to be the most versatile god in the entire game since she can become any god according to the need of the moment.

N

The Morrigan, the Phantom Queen, is one of the most unique and tricky gods in Smite 2. She thrives on deception, burst damage and her unmatched ability to completely turn a fight with her ultimate. If you enjoy outsmarting your opponents and keeping them guessing, The Morrigan is the perfect pick for you.

Abilities

Passive – Doomsayer
The 3rd hit of The Morrigan’s hit chain will explode, dealing damage to all enemies within range and Dooming all enemies hit. Doomed Enemies will take additional Basic Attack damage over time.

1st Ability – Deadly Aspects
When activated, The Morrigan begins combining the power from all three of her forms. When activated again, they simultaneously damage and stun enemies in front of them.

2nd Ability – Dark Omen
The Morrigan launches a wave of dark magic at her enemies that deals damage, deals bonus damage to minions, and applies an Omen to enemy gods. Gods with an Omen will take bonus damage the next time they are hit by any damaging ability.

3rd Ability – Confusion
The Morrigan creates a phantom of herself while becoming stealthed and increasing her Movement Speed. The phantom runs to the targeted area, deals no damage, and will die if it takes any damage. If The Morrigan attacks or takes damage, she will be revealed and lose her increased Movement Speed.

Ultimate – Changeling
The Morrigan selects a God from the current match to become a copy of and cleanses herself of all effects. She copies all of their current stats and may use all of their abilities for the duration. The Rank of her abilities will transfer to the skills of the god she copies. This ability's cooldown will be increased to match the target God's ultimate ability cooldown. You may hover over a target and cancel to pre-select them, so you do not need to use the cursor on activation.

Ability Leveling Order

Deadly Aspects: 2-8-11-12-14

Dark Omen: 1-4-6-7-10

Confusion: 3-15-16-18-19

Changeling: 5-9-13-17-20

Build

For The Morrigon Mid, I recommend this build:

For The Morrigon Support, I recommend this build:

I don't really like The Morrigon support, but you can play with it. It's not very strong but it's fun.

Strengths

The Morrigan’s ultimate, Changeling, lets her transform into any enemy god, giving her unmatched versatility to handle various situations and adapt her playstyle on the fly. With abilities like Deadly Aspects and Dark Omen, she can unleash massive damage in a short amount of time, making her deadly in both ambushes and team fights. Her Confusion ability can disorient enemies, creating opportunities for her team to strike or allowing her to slip away from danger. Transforming into an enemy god can let her counter their strengths or turn their tools against them, making her a constant wildcard in any engagement. She can shift roles mid-battle, functioning as a high-damage dealer or a disruptive force depending on the situation, making her incredibly unpredictable.

Weaknesses

To play The Morrigan effectively, you need great positioning, quick decision-making, and mastery of her abilities, which can make her challenging for newer players. Activating Changeling leaves her briefly exposed, and skilled enemies can capitalize on this window to eliminate her. Aside from Confusion, The Morrigan has limited tools for escaping bad situations, making her susceptible to focused attacks. Her power is often tied to the gods available for her to mimic. If the enemy team lacks impactful options, her potential can feel limited. Juggling her cooldowns and managing her abilities efficiently is critical, as running out of options mid-fight can leave her ineffective.

P

First Considerations:

The Morrigan is an ability-based character. However, it is common to build Hydra's Lament and/or Polynomicon with her because her damage is sometimes not enough to kill enemies. To play her effectively, you should poke enemies first before attempting a kill with a combo.

Her playstyle feels like that of a magic assassin, focusing on poking before finishing her target. Her clone can be used to distract enemies or escape from battles, especially with her new skin.

She requires significant experience with all gods in the game, as you never know which characters will be available to choose in each match. This versatility makes her one of my favorite gods. Each game feels unique, allowing you to play different gods and surprise your enemies.

Build:

Intelligence, cooldown reduction, and life steal work best for her. Items like Soul Gem, Rod of Tahuti, Polynomicon, Hydra's Lament, and Chronos' Pendant are commonly used.

Example build: link

Combo:

Standard Combo:

Use your third ability to approach your enemy., basic attack, use your second ability, basic attack, use your first ability, and basic attack.

Modified Combo (against high-mobility enemies):

Use your third ability to approach your enemy, basic attack, use your first ability, basic attack, use your second ability, and basic attack.

If your enemy has low health after the combo and you know you can finish them using another god's abilities, use your ultimate to transform into a god that can secure the kill.

Poke:

Her second ability is excellent for poking enemies. If you attack the same target before the mark expires, you will deal additional damage.

Roles:

The Morrigan is primarily played as a mid-laner but can also be effective in solo or jungle roles. She excels in duel game mode and has a strong early game. However, you should aim to finish matches quickly, as late-game ADCs can easily one-shot her.

How to play The Morrigan in Smite 2!

The Morrigan is a god whose complexity mostly comes from their ultimate. Her base kit isn't too hard to understand. She is a threat the moment she reaches level 5. Being able to turn into anyone is extremely threatening and allows for some game-winning plays. For The Morrigan, you want to build accordingly to what the enemy team has of course, but CD is extremely important so you can have your ult up as much as possible.

The Morrigan's main combo is 1-2. Her 1 is a short-range stun that can be surprisingly hard to hit if the enemy knows it is coming, so be sure to focus up when trying to hit this ability. Her 2 is a long-range wave that is good for poking and wave clear. Her 3 is a good ability for ambushing and escaping as it makes a decoy and makes her invisible. The Morrigan's ultimate allows her to switch into any god that is in the match. Pro tip, you can hover over a god's portrait when activating the ult, even without having the ultimate yet pre-level 5 to have a god ready to pick when casting. This is useful so you don't spend a long time picking a god for a situation that arises.

The Morrigan also has an aspect that will change how her 3rd ability will work. Instead of going invisible when sending out a decoy, she can instead swap locations with it. This does make ambushes harder for her but allows for really crazy plays and baits. Choose this aspect if you feel like a more trickster playstyle is what you want. Be aware that you are easier to catch in some cases though.

The Morrigan should be positioning in the backline in teamfights so she can widdle down the enemy team with her 2. She can peel and self-peel with her 1 but it's risky to get that close in teamfights so you should try to save it for when your team engages, or you get engaged upon.

Ganking and rotating with The Morrigan is something you should try to when playing her in the Middle Lane. Her ultimate allows for nearly an infinite number of plays when ganking, and it's up to you to decide what the best god to copy is for a gank. The Morrigan can also be played in the jungle but does suffer from a weak early game. She is susceptible to being invaded early, so don't be afraid to ask your team for help.

Generally, turning into a tank is a safe play for The Morrigan. It allows her to go in and be hard to kill for her team while disrupting the enemy team with double to CC or damage that she will copy. It also allows for easier time escaping sometimes depending which tank you choose. The best targets to switch into for The Morrigan will almost always be the most fed god in the match. Being able to take the player who has a whole item lead's form can be great for catching your team back up in a gank or objective.

Here is a general build example for The Morrigan

Sands of time: Her clear will be a bit worse in the early game, but the CD and mana on this item will be very valuable. The upgrade to this item also allows for even more CD and a nice passive for building mana.

Book of Thoth: This item helps a lot with damage once you get it stacks. You will lack damage before this item gets built though so plan accordingly when preparing to attack.

Chronos Pendant: The Morrigan loves CD and I believe this is one of the best CD items in the game with an extremely strong passive and a lot of CD with a fair amount of int.

Spear of Desolation: This item has a lot of int and some pen with a passive that I think works amazingly with The Morrigan. Having that CD reduction on a god kill can really allow you to escape or get even more kills after going in.

The World Stone: Reducing the CD of your ultimate for someone like The Morrigan is game changing. This item also has nice stats and is overall a must have for The Morrigan.

The Cosmic Horror: CD is important for The Morrigan, and this item gives a lot of int and CD.

Rod of Tahuti: Finally, this item gives you additional int which helps with The Morrigan's damage outside of ultimate form.

Other Situational Items:

Divine Ruin is a good anti-heal option for when the enemy team has a lot of healing, such as from Hercules, Anubis, and Mordred

Obsidian Shard is a good item against tanks if they are a huge threat during your match.

Soul Reaver fills the same niche as obsidian shard and are typically built together. Soul Reaver is more important though if you only want one anti-tank item.

Polynomicon is a good option for The Morrigan if they lack tankiness on the enemy team. That auto in-between her 1-2 combo can straight up kill an enemy god. Doesn't work so well against tanks so I would avoid this if tanks are a big threat on the enemy team.

Overall, The Morrigan can be hard for someone interested in learning her, but as you continue playing you will begin to understand which characters are more of a priority to switch into and which are less likely to be useful. It takes time but it is definitely worth knowing how to use all gods kit at a least basic level as well.

Morrígan holds a pivotal role in Irish mythology, revered as a goddess embodying battle, war, fate, and sovereignty. Known for her shape-shifting prowess, she often manifests as a crow or raven, symbolizing her connection to death and the battlefield's aftermath. Her name, which translates to "Great Queen" or "Phantom Queen," highlights her significance within the pantheon. Beyond her warlike attributes, she's linked to prophecy, often foretelling the outcomes of conflicts. She famously interacts with heroes like Cú Chulainn, where her attempts to influence or seduce can lead to significant consequences. Additionally, her portrayal sometimes as a triple goddess with Badb, Macha, and Nemain, or Anu, reflects the Celtic concept of the power in threes, showing her multifaceted nature in Irish lore.

(Passive) Doomsayer: Her third basic attack deals 9% of the target's health as damage over 3 seconds, ideal for finishing off opponents.

Skill 1 Deadly Aspects: A cone attack that stuns and damages, great for initiating or combos.

Skill 2 Dark Omen: Sends a damaging wave, dooming enemies for extra damage from her next ability, perfect for wave clear or setting up fights.

Skill 3 - Confusion: Grants stealth and speed, creating a decoy. Use for ambushes or escapes.

Ultimate - Changeling: Transforms into any god in the match, copying their abilities, stats, and items for 10 seconds. Choose based on the immediate needs of battle - offense, defense, or utility.

Tips:

Combo Dark Omen into Deadly Aspects for burst damage. Time Confusion for surprise attacks or to flee. Use Changeling at critical moments to adapt to the fight's needs. Mastering Morrigan requires understanding all gods to leverage her ultimate effectively.

Roles:

Assassin: By transforming into high-burst damage gods to take out key targets.

Support: If transformed into a god with strong control or defensive capabilities when needed.

Jungler: For her ganking potential with her stealth and ability to mimic jungler gods for objectives.

DU

This deity is one of the most complex and difficult to use. She has the ability to exploit the chaos of war and death to act and manipulate the outcome of the battlefield. One of her abilities is Metamorphosis which allows her to transform into another deity for a short time. This is exceptional because it allows her to assume any form and adapt to any situation. Ideal if you want to play her in various places. Another ability to use is "Death's Embrace" which allows you to inflict more damage than expected. The damage from this ability works in a dual function. On the one hand, it hits the enemies, on the other, it slows them down. And since they are slowed down, if you are in trouble you can quickly escape or make your team escape.

Morrigan is also strong as a magician but it is certainly not her best ability. The useful advice for this deity is to use her as a strategist, because it is true that she has powerful abilities, but she manages to create those distractions necessary to let the team catch their breath. Coordination with the playing group is essential because his abilities are powerful but can only maintain victory if you collaborate with others. And then being able to move from one side of the field to the other quickly is very useful.

Morrigan Phantom Queen

Morrigan is one of the most unique and variable characters that Smite 2 has, thanks to her ability that allows her to become any god in the game, making her a very useful and versatile character, In addition, it must be taken into account that one must have a good knowledge of the game and the gods in order to use this goddess correctly.

Abilities

Passive (Doomsayer): The third basic attack in a row that hits correctly will cause an explosion dealing 9% of the target's Health as Magical damage over 3 sec, reduced by 80% against Jungle Bosses and Titans

  1. First ability (Deadly Aspects): Morrigan summons 2 copies of herself that stay at her side launching a simultaneous attack in the form of a triangle in front of her, dealing magic damage and stunning the enemy gods hit.

  2. Second ability (Dark Queen): Morrigan fires a magical bird-shaped projectile forward which passes through everything and deals magic damage to enemies hit, and also puts a mark on the enemy god hit dealing extra magic damage if any allied god damages the enemy god with an ability or if Morrigan uses her passive hitting the 3 basics in a row

  3. Third ability (confusion): Morrigan summons a copy of herself which will walk in a straight line forward in the direction the player casts the ability, at the same time Morrigan will become invisible and gain movement speed.

If the clone is damaged it will automatically disappear, the clone gives vision around it, receiving damage while invisible will make you visible again and the towers, phoenixes and titans will know where you are even if you are invisible and have launched the copy.

  4. Fourth ability (Changeling): Morrigan selects a god from the game, transforming into him for 10 seconds, being able to use all his abilities and having all the items of the copied god.

If the God that you transform into has an ultimate cooldown longer than this ultimate's Cooldown use the Transformer targets cooldown instead, you will copy their ability ranks, if your level is different to the transforms Target it will use to order the ranked their abilities filling without the Auto skill as needed.

Build

Morrigan can be very versatile but I will show a midliner build and optional items you can add to the build.

How to play?

Considering Morrigan's abilities, her gameplay can be very creative and variable but I will give some tips to play with Morrigan:

  • The first ability not only serves to attack an enemy, stun it and kill it, it can also be combined with the third ability since when using the first ability while invisible Invisibility is not broken, with this you can take advantage of making surprise attacks, help an ally escape, annoy enemy gods or escape a surprise attack.

  • The second ability is a great tool to push the waves of Minions and at the same time do damage to the enemy gods since we must remember that it can go through everything.

  • The fourth ability can be used very well if you have the correct knowledge of the gods of the game, because it allows many possibilities whether it be attack, healing or area damage for your team. If you know the enemy gods well, this ability can turn the game around.
