It is difficult to decide for one certain ship that is underrated in all of New Eden, so I want to tell you about a ship I personally got to know as underrated. My Exequror is a repairing support ship that is fitted for PvP and gets a surprising amount of fights because it looks harmless. It has great tank and is really fun to fly. Just don't tell too many people it has got teeth!

It is actually one of the few ships I fly dirty to have the visual and lore of the dust collecting on the hull. I even got it a special skin shorty after SKINR dropped. While I cannot really fly it while looking for fights, it is nice to look at while traveling to my next hunting grounds!

Tell us what EVE's most underrated ship is!
Friendship.. hmm oh! -> -> ATRON ATRON !!!

This Atron pictures is from the deeps of the Brave Slack Propaganda Channel.
Honestly i forgot why it was made, but it contains lot of Brave Member Pics :)

Since we heading to FF25, its an idea of long lasting Friendship witin a Videogame over the whole world. We use somtimes harsh words in local but in the end we all enjoi the same game.

Why the Atron? T1 Frigate with whooping 170 DPS which can be easily underestimated in special if the appear in groups. Since its the base hull for interceptor... it comes with speed and due the blaster with lot of DPS for this size and isk wise ship.

I do love that mosaic. Did you find yourself within it? If it's a real recommendation of the Atron (or friendship!), don't forget to tell us why you think it's underrated.

Velator! - This ship is greatly underrated not only in PVE in EVE Online, but also in PVP. It can do a lot of DPS and no one expects a trick from it and this is another of its strong points!

Hope I did everything right. If not please let me know!

Ha, I can only agree with that one!

Hi SeriesPro - you're very almost there, but your social media post misses step 2:

"Include some text in your post telling us which role the ship is underrated for and why you think it's underrated."

For example, your post should include a sentence like "I think the Velator is #EVEOnline's most underrated PvP ship because its bonuses to drone hit points make it effective for..."

You can hit the 'edit' button on your submission to make changes. o7

The Sunesis

The Sunesis is a Destroyer typically used for salvaging. It isn't even in my top 100 of ships used, and it comes with some serious drawbacks - primarily in the speed department. Depending on the fit it can have a serious tank and solid dps. But it is so underrated that few people ever fly them for PvP.

As a test I fly one yesterday for an hour in highly competitive systems in Factional Warfare space and was unable to get a single engagement in it. For one thing, given that it is classified as a "pirate" Destroyer, it is limited in the types of plex it can enter. Which narrows its potential engagement window considerably.

The Sunesis needs a slight speed boost and the ability to enter small navy plex like other ships in its class.

What's an underrated ship, one you don't suspect to be any good (or kill you)?

The Venture!

When you’re ready to make your first ISK, many seek the Venture since it is literally gifted to you in training.

They use it, abuse it, maybe trash it as expendable, and drop it as soon as they can. You receive at least two or three Ventures in the course of utilizing your starting career agents at no cost, so by that logic, I believe many assume the ship is cheap, expendable, and not worth keeping around.

Why? Why such disrespect for such a capable nugget that is often overlooked in the face of greater mining vessels like the Mackinaw or Rorqual (and one that was paid homage to/ripped off by Star Citizen)?

Does it not wield big enough rocks for you?

I’ll tell you why the Venture is such a hearty and valuable little asset. The little miner that could may not be as prestigious as, say, a fleet of Mackinaws or the Orca, but in a quick pinch, the Venture is what will help you succeed if you’re going for those Daily Agency challenges and don’t want to spend half-an-hour pursuing them. Whereas you’ll lumber through the station undock corridor and asteroid belts in a larger and more cumbersome Mackinaw or even the Skiff, and burn minutes as your strip miner cycle burns down a rock, the Venture’s agility and fast warp will have you from undock-to-belt in literal seconds. Coupled with its 60-second mining laser cycle time, and you’ll have a daily Agency challenge of mining 2,000 units of ore complete in literally one cycle, in one minute. If time is money, the Venture is a sure bet to save you that time so you can make your money elsewhere.

Even for combat, a fleet of Ventures can shred an unsuspected attacker thinking he is staring down ‘a bunch of miners,’ all too quickly dismissing them as pushovers, then immediately realizing his mistake when he discovers he’s been baited by Ventures armed with energy neutralizers, warp scramblers, and artillery.

So, the next time you’re in the market for a mining vessel (or prowling the belts thinking you’re guaranteed an easy kill), take heart, capsuleer, of the resilient and resolute Venture – it will be a pillar of success for you…or your worst nightmare.
