The game allows you to use machinery that exists in the real world! Companies like John Deere and Case IH are in the game with vehicles that actually exist and can be used in the game. The coolest thing about this is that the company has secured official partnerships with these companies and tries to make the vehicles work as faithfully as possible.

I think that's a nice detail!

There is a drawback of this partnership, companies do not allow them to be damaged (let's say by hail or tornado) to look bad. But yea!

In Farming Sim 2008, there wasn't even a shop. You got all machines for free when you started the game. The machinery shop was included in Farming Simulator 2009.

Did you know that the oldest brands in the Farming Simulator Franchise are Case IH (first coming in FS2013), Fendt (In LS2008 and 2009 and coming back in FS17 and Deutz-Fahr since FS2011)

in Farming Simulator 08, the first game of this long series, was so limited in variety that had only 2 types of tractor and the only corp that you could plant was the wheat! The game have walked a long way to be where it is now!

If u are a modder and you have created some branded modification, there is a big chance that the brand is in the game, just dosn't have any vehicles in base, so you can also send branded modification into modhub for consoles.
Alternatively, you can direct the brand management to contact Giants team, and they can make agreement so you can publish licensed modification on consoles also.

One of the facts about the farming simulator series is that animals didn't exist in the game till FS 2011 when they introduced the classical Cows :)

In FS22's, we have a baguette stuck in the concrete right in the bakery on the Haut-Beyleron map, a reference to “Zak McKracken”, which was a 1988 LucasArts game in which in one scene you pick up a hard loaf of bread.

In some versions of Farming Simulator, there are hidden collectibles scattered around the map. Collecting them rewards players with a nice bonus, like extra cash, which can give a serious boost to a farm's expansion and making a food monopoly even easier.

With a harvester you always want to try and get a drapper header as this doesn’t need a trailer for the header, wheels are already attached to the header.
