As I always do, starting with the actual context of the god, we have Agni (The word agni is Sanskrit for “fire”) as a Hindu deity who is in charge of guarding and representing the South East.

Here we have an excellent mid, with absurd raw damage and crowd control, making a big impact on the match, especially with area damage.

Skills

Passive - Combustion: Every 4 basic attacks, your next wave of flames or rain of fire will set enemies on fire

Ability 1 - Noxious Fumes: It will generate a smoke that deals damage every second, if you hit the smoke with any of your other skills it will generate an explosion, stunning and dealing damage.

Ability 2 - Flame Wave: Shoots fire in a straight line, dealing damage.

Ability 3 - Path of Flames: He dashes forward, leaving a trail of fire that will deal continuous damage to whoever is on top.

Ultimate - Rain Fire: It will summon a meteor from the sky that explodes in the area, you can summon it 3x.

Build

Leveling

4 > 1 > 2 > 3

In general, it's a very simple and explosion-oriented god, with a good margin for error, since you can reposition yourself, use and abuse your abilities, especially their combo.

Agni, the God of Fire, combines crowd control and explosive damage, making him an excellent choice for the mid lane.

Passive (Combustion): with each basic attack you hit, you gain stacks. When you gather 4 stacks, the next Flame Wave or Rain Fire will ignite enemies, dealing more damage for 3 seconds. If she manages to kill an enemy, Agni enters a Hot Streak for 10s, which, while she's in it, Combustion is fully charged and skills don't consume it. I like to use it to attack minions or at the start on gods to build up Combustion.

Skill 1 (Noxious Fumes): Agni summons a cloud of noxious smoke that lasts for 10 seconds, dealing magic damage per second. In addition, hitting the smoke with any of her other skills detonates the gas, dealing stun and magic damage to opponents. Always try to position it at strategic points, such as on an enemy trapped by an ally.

Skill 2 (Flame Wave): a wave of fire is summoned causing physical damage. After reaching the maximum distance, it persists for 1 second. It's important to be good at aiming here haha.

Skill 3 (Path of Flames): Agni runs forward and leaves a trail of fire behind. Enemies who pass through the area take magic damage for 2s and if they touch the area again, the duration is updated. Notes: the trail of flame lasts 3s; you are immune to displacement; passing over noxious fumes will ignite you. One option is to use it to clear waves of minions, or defensively when you need to flee.

Ultimate (Rain Fire): A meteor is summoned, dealing magic damage and slowing you down by 50%. You can have up to 3 charges of this ability, but the first time you get them all, which can help your strategy for using it. I always like to keep a charge in case I need to defend myself or to give the enemy one last blow and confirm the kill.

With regard to skill progression, in general I prefer the 3-2-1 order and ultimate whenever possible, of course. With regard to the build, always think about magical power, penetration and reducing the recharge time. Some items that I think are very important are: Vampiric Shroud to sustain mana and life; Sands of time for CDR and mana; Gem of Focus for more magical power...

It's important to know how to combine the noxious fume + flame wave stun combo, which helps you a lot in the game; as I've already said, know how to manage the ultimate's charges; and in general, I always like to emphasize that positioning is essential, and even there it's important to know how to use the terrain to your advantage, and you should always try to adapt your build to each situation you encounter. Finally, Agni is an excellent choice if you want to master the mid lane. Practice helps you learn to combine combos and manage your skills.

here my guide basic for AGNI in Smite 2

AGNI

God of fire from Hindu mythology, considered one of the most stable gods in the game Smite 2, with very good area damage and crowd control abilities.

skills.

his skills are as follows:

Noxious Fumes.

Ability that leaves an area on the ground that deals damage to anyone standing on it, and when hit by another fire ability from Agmi, it will cause an explosion dealing damage and crowd control to everything within its area of effect.

Flame Wave.

It unleashes a frontal and linear attack that deals a significant amount of damage to everything in its path, as well as leaving a burning damage over time. If used after "Noxious Fumes," it will explode and generate damage and crowd control in its designated area.

Path of Flames.

Agni performs a linear movement towards where you pointed, leaving a fire mark on the ground that, when stepped on, generates fire damage and temporary fire damage. If this fire reaches "Noxious Fumes," it will cause an explosion, generating area damage and the corresponding crowd control.

Rain Fire

Agni's ultimate ability can be sent to a designated position on the field where we aim, a flame will fall from the sky, dealing area damage, and if it lands on "Noxious Fumes," it will cause area damage and the crowd control of the latter.

Passive ability, Combustion

Agni, when using his basic abilities, will generate one charge if aimed at minions and two charges if aimed at enemies. Upon reaching three charges and using his area fire abilities, they will deal more damage and slightly increase the duration of the crowd control from his ability "Noxious Fumes."

Now let's continue with their equipment items to deal the maximum possible damage in their "middle lane" role, for which we will implement the following

initial item

Initial item, "Archmage's gem"

First starting item that gives us more intellect to deal more damage, as well as a small mana regeneration of 4 and a 40% increase in damage equivalent to your intelligence.

First item, "spear of desolation"

it provides us with Intelligence and penetration as a benefit, as well as a reduction in cooldown time to use our abilities more often.

Second item, "chronos' Pendant"

It grants us intelligence and a significant reduction in cooldown time to use our abilities, and it also reduces our abilities' cooldown by 1 second every 10 seconds.

Third item, "Divine Ruin"

it grants us intellect and penetration, with its passive ability that reduces the healing received by the target we attack by 40%

Fourth item, "SoulGem"

It grants us intelligence, life steal, and a slight reduction in cooldown time, and its ability is that every 3 skills we hit on enemies will generate damage equivalent to 40% of our intelligence. These charges are consumed but can be generated again each time we hit our skill.

Fifth item, "Anciento Signet"

It gives us intelligence and an increase in maximum mana, along with the ability to deal 20 + 10 damage per enemy level, totaling 220 damage to level 20 enemies, but it can only be activated every 20 seconds, although this time is reduced for each enemy minion killed or for assists.

Last item, "Rod of Tahuti"

It grants us Intelligence, maximum mana increase, mana regeneration, and penetration in base stats, and gives us an ability that increases our intelligence by an amount equivalent to 20% of the total intelligence from all our items.

I will implement the following rotation:

Noxious Fumes: 1, 6, 8, 10, 12

Flame Wave: 2, 4, 7, 11, 14

Path of Flames: 3, 15, 16, 18, 19

Rain Fire: 5, 9, 13, 17, 20

how to play.

To play with this God, very good and fun, we will start in the middle calmly, try to eliminate enemy minions as quickly as possible to gain experience and have the 3 initial abilities since they are our help in damage combo.

The frontal damage combo will use our ability "Flame Wave" on the minions followed by the ability "Noxious Fumes" to deal area explosion damage and stun our main enemy.

another damage combination when you escape using the "Path of Flames" ability by leaving a trail of fire behind, if the enemy is still near you, use "Noxious Fumes" at your feet to deal damage and crowd control to gain an advantage and be able to exit close combat.

Agni must always keep his distance since his area skills help both us and our teammates in a teamfight.

The last skill combo and one of the easiest to implement is using the skill "Rain Fire" followed by "Noxious Fumes." When performing crowd control, you can use "Rain Fire" two more times and deal a large amount of damage all in a designated area.

A small tip to be a good Agni player is to always keep your distance and have the ultimate ability with 3 charges to engage in team fights and secure victory for your team. Also, always be cautious in the jungle area and never forget to use your healing and damage reduction buff at the red camp to help you eliminate enemies.

Here's another one.

Could this video format be submitted to the Artemis reward? The reward is for showing off the best builds, but I show the builds that I think are best for the character. First i show off the abilities and then I share some tips.
