When discussing economics and resource management, especially when phrases like “as much money and as efficiently as possible” come into play - you can’t ignore modeling.

This is where Excel spreadsheets become essential. Fortunately, a pre-made calculator exists (credit to r/MrSNoopy1611), who created and shared a production profit calculator.

Main thread link

Be sure to check the spreadsheet’s multiple tabs, as each one covers a different type of production.

What particularly caught my attention is Greenhouses, which require minimal maintenance thanks to the auto-sell function. However, there’s a catch - not all greenhouse products are equally profitable. I put together a small chart to highlight the difference in monthly profits per large greenhouse on hard mode, assuming you buy water refills.

The price gap is significant if you plan to sell raw products, with lettuce being as the clear leader in profitability.

By manually refilling water, you can push profits up to €4,500 per greenhouse per month, roughly a 22% increase. This means a break-even point in just 8 months for a large greenhouse. To maximize profits, consider building your greenhouses near a natural water source or a public water tower.

This setup is scalable, easy to manage, requires a reasonable investment, and offers steady income with little to no maintenance.

I studied in the past some Economy sciences and looking to all the products of FS 25, I think Eggs is the way to go, not only for the profits, It appears the chickens in this game are he best animal in the game in terms of cost too, you only need a good selling plan.

looking at this graph from the game we observe :
A Steady Increase in May to July then a Decline in August, stabilizing in September.
The Prices spiked hard on October to November, and finally came back down the hill to stabilize.
Clearly the best months to sell are October and November so you must plan a head for storage and also transporting it to the selling point which can greatly change the final revenue at the end of the year.
Don’t forget to expand when you can, the more chicks the more your pockets are full.
The food is essential to this kind off line of work, grow wheat and barley you will thank me later.

This is an example of a Chicken farmer in the FS 25 :
A Large Chicken Coop = 360 Chickens 🐔
that will bring the production to 1,500 L / 30 Days
Costs between feed, maintenance, reproduction = can go to $ 7800
If 1,500 L produced per month can make 18,000 L per year ( If Sold in November )
18,000L x $4,200 / 1000 L = $ 75,600
Profit Per Year could be :
$ 75,600 - $ 7,800 = $ 67,800
At least 87 % Margin Profit, If you follow the tips said before. Enjoy !

To keep a great amount of money flowing constantly in my account I always choose at least one crop that make money easy and there are three options that I always choose, the first twos are canola and soybean, they are simple to produce, and doesn't need a production chain that requires more time, and you can make them at the begging of the game. The last one is cotton, a little expansive but has good returns, and I'm using them by now to always keep me always from bankruptcy.

As I said as well there are productions chains, that demands more time but take longer to get ready, but there are ones like bread that needs few process, the grain mill and bakery, and this one of the things that help me to get extra money over the time.

The rest of the crops I do more for fun since I can't make so much money from it at least at the moment.

Want to be The King/Queen Of honey makers here is the most efficient and optimized strategy so you can in a short and also medium and long-term sustain your little abode you call your home :

1.Honey Price through the year :

when you start your journey into the world of bees you will notice that are 2 months important for your little friends : Marsh and September. the first is where they shine the best and it is the optimal period to sell at high price, and the second is were you need respect the bee tradition and let them keep their life liquid or store it for next year ( honey can survive the winter ).

2.Setup and Costs :

3 types of beehive are available in the game small ( cheap but low production ) Medium ( Moderate production but more expensive ) Large ( approximatively 20K $ cost but gives High production )
the strategies are many but the best is to build from small like 5 small and then upgrade when you hit the green numbers so you make your money back and more.

3.Storage and Selling Strategy :

Hold the honey of Sep-Oct-Nov-Dec-Jan, you will lose money if you do. use Pallet storage near the production site to store, and if you are desperate for money after a storm or some gambling session, sell at Feb-marsh. for Jun-Jul and Aug you should avoid at all cost selling.

Ps: Respect Your bees, they make you king !

Cutting grass and producing silage can be a good way to make money in Farming Simulator 25. Note that silage bales can be more valuable than standard hay bales and provide livestock feed that is also richer in nutrients. Additionally, grass regrows up to three times a year, providing a more consistent source of income for farmers.

The only obstacle to achieving this solution is the $200,000 needed to purchase the farming equipment needed to produce and harvest the grass, specifically the mower, baler and baler. However, when thinking in terms of future investment, the benefits outweigh the costs when producing silage bales, especially in the long run.
