I decided to reimagine the cover of The Dark Side of the Moon with a real moon hahaha

One of my conceptions was to imagine a the moon like a Crystal, even knowing that it would only work with a prisma shape, but the this give an surrealistic idea that for me fits so well with the band and this LP.

I can calmly say that I was just looking for an album that would look great with a pet in it (I thought about putting my own cat in it, but the photos were difficult to edit), so I took a photo of a dog on the internet and I liked the result hahaha.

I think the original album design is already quite good, but I believe redesigning it with a straw hat theme would make it even better, as the song Memories is strongly associated with Monker D. Luffy and One Piece.

George Hardie (cover designer) has expressed a sense of regret in interviews over his choice of the Hindenburg disaster image for Led Zeppelin's debut album cover. He acknowledged that he might have approached the design with more sensitivity if he had fully grasped the tragic nature of the event at the time.

So I took another airship, which still resembled the 'led' look. This is Graf Zeppelin, which safely landed after 590 trips over the Atlantic.

Here Comes the... Moon?!

The Beatles recorded Abbey Road in 1969, the same year humanity achieved the monumental feat of landing on the moon.

This cover reimagines their iconic crosswalk moment as a tribute to that historic event. Instead of crossing a London street, the Fab Four stride across the lunar surface, with Earth rising majestically in the background (and please, don’t mind my rustic Photoshop abilities).

A great Album From A great Band, I used some of my screenshots from Elite, these songs help me every time travers the void alone, the theme is space and time and SPHERES, so I added a lot of them, made them cartoonish and Voilà !

I really like Joji's songs; I relate to them, and for this reason, I chose his latest album, Smithereens, for this project. On the left is the original album cover, and on the right is my redesign.

When I think of the name Smithereens, two things come to mind: pieces of glass and sand. So, I took an image featuring both and first applied a black-and-white filter. Then, I adjusted the levels, contrast, and other elements. Finally, I added a gradient map using the gradient from the original artwork because I really liked it and thought it created a good connection.

Not going to put up the original album cover JUST in case (and for obvious reasons), but I think we can all agree this is much, much better.

Finally, I've come up with this. It’s nothing extraordinary, but since this is meant to be fun, I've decided to play around with Daft Punk's Random Access Memories album.

The original cover is by no means bad.

Train of Thought is one of Dream Theater's heaviest albums in my opinion. The current album cover is alright, but I thought it was lacking the sense of desperation that the songs on the album have.

Admittedly, I'm not great at graphic design, but I did my best to represent the attitude of the album a bit more. I kept the B&W, high contrast aspects. The Dream Theater logo is present somewhere on all their albums, so I thought it would look cool as a tattoo on the hand.

NIRVANA NEVERMIND OR NEVERDOG..?

My Artistic redesign of iconic álbum going from tender to tender from a Lovely baby to a lovely Dog 🐕 following the Dollars 💸 is a new fresh and higher definition

Of that álbum iconic in the 90’s

What is your favorite song 🎶 from Nirvana or this Album..? Mine is BREED

HOW I MADE IT ..?

First to find the most cute dog 🐕 in the net and to use his underwater foto like model , later because l don’t have photoshop or AI 🤖 l’m use my Tik Tok edition tool CapCut and put the photo plus color correction, to cut , look for the more acurrate text , to make a capture and VOILA later l use a Coolage app for to put both Art side by side

WHY NEVERMIND..?

We all know the famous Nirvana album and its controversial cover with its naked child. Well, I thought of a more tender version of this beloved album also using a cute dog

tell me who doesn't love a cute dog.

Let’s Participate it 💪🏼

The original image is this which is the cover of The Clash's London Calling album ..

.. which in itself was inspired by the cover of Elvis presley's debut album

Anyway, the company I work for (SSL) used to have these social events where we'd each submit a track for inclusion on a compilation album entitled "Spirit of SSL". This is the cover I created for volume 9 of that series (we're an IT company, hence smashing a keyboard).

I cannot tell you how flippin' hard it was to recreate that pose and even then I never got it quite right (my wife was very patient with the camera tho' and gave numerous "helpful" suggestions on how to reposition my arms and legs).

This won't mean much to the non-Eve players, but this is the original brand logo I designed for my Eve Online alliance A Band Apart. The logo was designed on the Clash album but as Banksy designed it translated by my own illustration that incorporated the Rifter spaceship from Eve. Anyway, it was never officially used since it was deemed to represent the real world elements too much for the far future. But I used it on t-shirts and other giveaways over the years.

Just thought I'd share.

I chose to do a quick re-imagining of Atom Heart Mother from Pink Floyd. As a life-long Floyd fan this album's design always stuck with me as both simplistic symbolism and also a slight disappointment from Hipgnosis the design group responsible for so many iconic designs. As a fellow designer I must also qualify this entry as a quick one and not the weeks of work it would actually take if I was being serious about this concept.

Disclaimers all around.

"This entry as a quick one"

"Not the weeks of work it would actually take if I was being serious about this concept"

And directly after delivers a studio worthy album cover!

Lol fair enough. It's all about perspective I guess. I've been a professional creative for so long now I often feel like I should apologize sometimes for my quick work sketches. Self-deprecating I suppose.

I have always liked industrial silhouettes very much, as this very artificial human creation of large proportions tends to stand out in the landscape, as they are usually located in the peripheral areas of the cities.

This album, which is about the industrial revolution, has always enchanted me because of the way Jarre conveys that industrial sound, so mechanical and yet so human.

While the cover is by no means a bad cover, I always thought it could express that contrast, so I decided to reimagine it in this way. The album is heavy and dark industrial sounds, that's why I preferred to give that touch to the cover.

Cyberpunk 2077 Samurai Album Cover Redesign (Somewhat)

In the game Cyberpunk 2077, you come to find about Johnny Silverhand, the most recognizable Cyberpunk 2077 character's (Looks a touch like Keanu) music side and the band they made:

Samurai

Here's just a little album cover redesign - Also a follow along from one of the life choices in game; Street Kid.

New Order - Waiting for the Sirens Call

Divided by the blue vertical color the left image is the original.

Most of New Order albums are characterized by being abstract and simple. Waiting for the Sirens Call is one of them, with the following design i pretended to give a little more direct meaning to its name.

Alphaville, Big in Japan album cover, I decided to redesign it this way with Japan flag, the song isn't specifically about Japan. It uses the phrase big in Japan, which was often used to refer to music artists who were more popular abroad than in their home country.

Big in Japan,

Alphaville's most iconic and my favourite song .

Another Alphaville fan!! <3
