Since Minecraft first launched to the public in late 2009, there have been countless updates and new features, to the point where the game it is today is hardly recognisable compared to what it once was.
This bounty idea comes courtesy of avrona, who explains they "just finished making a video about this exact topic" so they're curious what everyone else thinks: what is your favourite Minecraft update or feature that has been added post-launch and why? Be as specific or as vague as you like, the only rule is that it must be something added in an update!
