Thor is one of the most iconic gods in all of mythology, not least thanks to his inclusion in the Avengers, made even more famous by the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That Thor is not too dissimilar from SMITE 2's Thor, as they're both the god of thunder with Mjolnir at their hands and a whole lot of superhuman - godlike, you could say - strength.
So we want you to create a guide all about how to play Thor in SMITE 2! He was added to the game in the Closed Alpha 7 update, so teach us about his abilities, best builds, strategies, strengths, weaknesses, roles, and more. Don't be mistaken by his armour, he isn't a tank god he is suitable for jungle , even possible to use him in solo lane but he isn't a good choice for this in my opinion.
As I said, Thor is a good choise for Jungle lane and its building will work with the auto one or a similar, itens with STR buffs to give bonus to their skill, and I will talk about how his skill are very good, easy to use and can make a diference in a suprise attack. The other aspect of the build I recommend are some protection, magical and physical, and you can adapt depending of the other gods, if you are facing some INT focused god a magical protection will be obviously more useful.
Now the skill, the first two actives differently from your basic attack has great range. The first, Mjolnir's Attunement will be that differential of the suprisse attack, at first it will be very useful against small enemies in the begging of the match, so it will make it easy to start the mach and keep you life high avoiding the close damage in the lane. But one you use this you will throw your hammer and if you click again you will teleport to the location of the hammer, and for the jungle it will only help to finish enemy but in PvP combat it will help you to gank your enemies or flee away in almost death scenarios.
The Tectonic Rift it is also another range attack just this time causing damage in a big area and for some time and creating a small wall that will block enemy movement.
The third one Berserker Barrage is a close and area attack that you spin your hammer and cause a great damage, what make it useful to jungle since you can hit a lot of week creatures with this attack even kill all of them at once. It will be useful to use once you arrive at your enemies with the Mjolnir and deal really fast a great amount of damage.
His Ultra is a hell of attack in a good way, it makes you vulnerable at the first seconds, but once used correctly you hit the ground so hard that can kill a bunch of enemies gods, but take care when using it with enemies nearby, you be on the ground and everybody will be able to attack you.
And for the final part I choose to talk about his passive Warrior's Madness that will increase your strength when you are coles to up 3 enemies and all your skill will be scaled up and a lot what make the perfect god to gank your enemies specially in team fights, you be the turn key in some situations!

Thor is one of the most iconic gods in smite, as he combines high damage, mobility and a global ultimate. Even though some people play him solo, we mainly have him as a jungler.
Skills:
Passive - Warrior's Madness: When you hit skills or basic attacks on enemy gods, you'll gain additional power, with a 5s tolerance time for you to continue attacking. After using the Berserker Barrager or the Anvil of Dawn, he becomes “Thunderstruck” which will give an electricity effect, which will deal damage to two enemies close to the one you attack.
Skill 1 - Mjolnir's Attunement: Throw your hammer in a straight line, it will go and then come back, dealing damage along the way (Deals more damage on the way back). You can reactivate the skill and you'll be teleported to wherever the hammer is on its path.
Skill 2 - Tectonic Rift: Will hit the ground and create a fissure in a straight line, starting from where the god is. This fissure causes a stun and prevents passage through the area. Just reactivate it and the barrier will collapse.
Skill 3 - Berserker Barrage: You will start spinning, causing physical damage to all enemies hit. After spinning twice, you will deal cone-shaped damage with physical damage.
Ultimate - Anvil of Dawn: You will fly into the sky and choose a place to land, dealing CC to all enemies in the area you land. Precisely what makes it so absurd with its ganks.
Building and leveling: I always follow guides, especially Frgotenpower's. I'll leave his link in case you're interested.
Tips: You're a god with incredible gank power, you can change any unfavorable fighting situation with your ultimate, as well as exerting global pressure simply by existing, so know when to show up or not on the map. You can easily win some 2x1 or 3x2 situations with a good ally by your side. It's a god for fearless players.

Thor is a great god to play, he brings an excellent combo of high mobility, group control and high damage, with him you can be a very difficult opponent to deal with.
Passive (Warrior's Madness): this one's a bit hard to understand... basically, for every enemy near Thor, he gains additional strength up to a maximum of 3. After you use Berserker Barrage or Anvil of Dawn (Skill 3 and ultimate), Thor gains Thunderstruck, which, while it's available, deals more physical damage to the enemy and can hit up to 2 nearby opponents.
Skill 1 (Mjolnir's Attunement): Thor throws Mjolnir forward to its maximum range, causing physical damage to any enemy hit in the round. When gods are hit on the way back, they take 200% damage. While Mjolnir is being thrown, Thor can use the same skill to be teleported to the hammer. Be careful though, as it needs to be a valid location on the map, and you can't teleport if you're using another skill or are hit by a hard CC or Cripple. It's an excellent combat strategy, but if you're going to try teleporting, remember that positioning is crucial.
Skill 2 (Tectonic Rift): Thor strikes the ground with Mjolnir and creates a fissure, causing physical damage and stunning the opponents hit. With the fissure, a wall rises that prevents movement, but the projectiles still pass through and Thor can knock down the wall ahead of time if he reactivates the skill. You then decide whether to keep the wall up or tear it down straight away, depending on the situation and the kit of your partners and opponents.
Skill 3 (Berserker Barrage): He makes two 360-degree spins with his hammer, dealing damage to all the enemies hit, until at the end he launches a cone attack that deals damage to the enemies in front of him. And here Thunderstruck still comes in, dealing damage to nearby enemies. I like it a lot for clearing minions and doing the stun - teleport - damage combo.
Ultimate (Anvil of Dawn): Thor launches himself into the air and becomes immune to CC, and he will choose a target where he will land and deal physical damage and stun the enemies he hits. Remembering Thunderstruck. I really like this ultimate for starting fights (in combination with the team), and you can also run away when the going gets tough.
With regard to builds, it varies a little whether you're going Solo or Jungle. For Solo, for example, I like Heartseeker, Brawler's Ruin, Oath Sworn Spear... For jungle, the crusher, serrated edge, Jottun's revenge...
Finally, I don't think it's an easy god to learn how to play, but I believe that with tips and plenty of practice you can become unbeatable. Thor is an assassin with a high damage output. As always, it's very important to know how to position yourself and when to use each skill... if you know how to use your kit, he's a great addition to the team.

How to play Thor in SMITE 2!
Thor is one of the hardest assassins to play with as a jungle, his kit is fun and can 1 shot any god if you did his combo right.
Thor's aspect (Aspect of Thunderstruck): Thunderstruck is always active; triggering it 3 times on a god heals Thor, slowing and trembling them. Warrior’s Madness grants Protections instead of Strength. Mjolnir’s Attunement no longer deals bonus return damage, and Tectonic Rift has no damage scaling.
Thor's abilities and passive
Passive Warrior's Madness: Thor gains strength for each enemy god near him, up to 3. After using Berserker's Barrage or Anvil of Dawn, he becomes "Thunderstruck." While Thunderstruck, Mjolnir deals bonus physical damage, and can arc up to 2 nearby enemies.
Thor's abilities:
Mjolnir's Attunement: Thor throws Mjolnir forward, dealing Physical Damage to enemies as it travels. When it reaches max range, it flies back to you. Mjolnir deals more damage on enemies hit on the return flight. Thor can reactivate the ability to instantly teleport to Mjolnir while it is in flight.
Tectonic Rift: Thor slams Mjolnir down creating a fissure, dealing Physical Damage to enemies as it erupts. Enemies hit are also stunned. The fissure created blocks movement, but allows projectiles to pass though. The ability can be reactivated to destroy the fissure early.
Berserker Barrage: Thor begins to spin, dealing Physical Damage to enemies around him. After spinning twice, he will unleash a final cone attack that deals Physical Damage to enemies in front of him. Thor is Displacement Immune while channeling this ability, while also gaining 3 seconds of Thunderstruck, causing Mjolnir hits to arc and damage nearby enemies.
Anvil of Dawn: Thor flies up into the sky! Once flying, he chooses a location to land, dealing Physical Damage and stunning all Enemies he lands upon. Thor becomes CC Immune during this ability, and after landing, will be Thunderstruck for 6 seconds, causing Mjolnir hits to arc and deal damage to nearby enemies.
This build provides you with damage and defense, make you strong and able to live for a longer time in teamfights.
When you play Thor, keep farming to level 5, then you gank any lane you want and get kills.
Keep ganking when your ultimate is ready, this will let you and your team level up faster and get an advantage on your enemy team.
for team fights, focus the enemy damage dealers to get them out of the fights.
