Cupid is one of the most versatile carries in the entire game thanks to his kit, providing a lot of damage and crowd control, making him a very useful god both in the carry role and in mid or even the jungle.
Abilities
Passive: Lovestruck
With basic attacks Cupid will gain charges from his passive up to a maximum of 16, when using a skill 8 of these charges are consumed so that his skills gain different effects.
1 Skill: Heart Bomb
Cupid fires an empowered arrow that will damage and slow the first enemy in its path and leave a mark on the enemy that will then explode after a while dealing damage in an area around it. If Cupid has his passive charged, the explosion of the mark will also stun all enemies it hits. Keeping Cupid's passive charged is very important especially for this ability since having an area stun every so often is very useful.
2 Skill:Share the Love
Cupid throws a heart bomb in an area in front of him, when it explodes it will damage enemies and leave 3 hearts on the ground that allies and Cupid can pick up to recover health and mana. If Cupid has his passive charged the hearts will also give a buff to strength and intelligence. Thanks to this ability Cupid is quite good in 1vs1 in the lane since he has a lot of sustain of life and mana.
3 Skill:Flutter
Cupid dashes forward, passing through all enemies in his path, leaving a trail behind him that increases the attack speed and movement speed of allies. This is a very simple mobility ability that will help Cupid get in and out of fights very quickly, although you have to be careful with walls since he does not go through them.
4 Skill: Fields of Love
Cupid fires arrows in a large area in front of him, these arrows will stick into the ground slowing and crippling enemies within that area, after a short period of time the arrows will explode dealing damage and mesmerizing enemies. If Cupid has his passive charged the ultimate will stun instead of mesmerize. This is one of the best ultimates in the entire game as it provides a lot of utility in a very large area.

I will give you a Build I made for cupid and other optional objects that can be added
Optional items
How to play?
Cupid can be put to good use thanks to his different abilities that make him very versatile in combat, but I will give you some tips on how to use him:
The Heart Bomb ability is very useful, not only to push waves of minions quickly thanks to its extra damage to them, but also to constantly deal damage to enemy gods Taking advantage of the area damage of this ability, either by Minions or with another god that approaches another god.
The Share to love ability is very useful and important for the game, it can be a great healing tool for you and your team throughout the fights, additionally you can quickly heal an ally if you cast this ability on your ally's feet or on yourself.
The third ability or the flutter is not only a way to escape, it can also be used to your advantage by giving you a great attack speed if you stand on the trail, making cupid able to shoot really fast and destroy structures quickly, kill jungle monsters or even take down enemy gods quickly
The fourth ability is a great help for team fights, as it is an ability that damages and causes secondary effects to enemies and also heals allies hit by it. It is a great way to start a team fight or turn the tables on one in your team's favor
Thanks to Cupid's god aspect, this god can change his way of playing and be more support than before, which in long or complicated games can help a lot to win the same.
Cupid is a god of Roman mythology, known as the god of love desire and sexual love, represented with a bow that shoots arrows of love, in the game scale based on strength and intelligence, also cures allies with their hearts.
His passive Lоvеstruck, it is an accumulation of stacks that he loads giving hits with his bow, when he has 8 accumulated stacks, 1 heart is completed that gives extra effects to his skills, he can accumulate up to 16 stacks (2 hearts), each time use the passive with some skill will subtract a whole heart (8 stacks).
First Skill: Hеаrt Bоmb, Cupid launches a medium-range projectile that if it hits someone it will apply a heart that will harm the enemy, at seconds will explode and harm the area, if it has a passive heart it will also stun the enemies and consume the heart of the passive.
Second Skill: Shаrе thе Lоvе, He will launch a projectile in an area that hurts enemies, invokes 3 hearts that regenerate you mana and life if you catch them and also if an ally catches them, if you throw that ability at the center of an ally or yourself, you will heal him and give him mana and yourself, with the stack of passive, Cupid will receive a boost of temporary damage and consume a stack.
Third skill: Fluttеr, You will make a dash forward, you will leave a trail of heart that applies speed of movement and speed of attack to you and the allies that pass through it.
Definitive skill: Fiеlds оf Lоvе, Create a huge area of arrows that explodes after a few seconds doing damage and applying mesmerize to the enemies, if you have stacks in the passive apply stunning and consume a stack, it also heals you and the allies that are inside the explosion.
First Skill: Heart Bomb (with aspect), The damage is reduced but when impacting an enemy it reduces the attack speed, it also heals the allies and with the passive the allies obtain a shield, consuming a stack.
Skills levels priority
1 > 4 > 2 > 3
We will prioritize our Hеаrt Bоmb skill for a greater impact in our fights and to be able to clear waves of minions, whenever we can we will raise our ultimate skill Fields of Lоvе, it will save us from many moments, the next skill we will raise will be Share of Love, it is our second basic damage skill therefore it is very useful, finally we will raise our escape skill Flutter, it is useful but not so much as to prioritize it.
Role position
He is mainly an ADC lane god, but you can play him in the MID lane with a certain build and even with the SUPP role with aspect activated, constantly healing the ally and dealing damage to the enemy, but the latter is the least useful, I do not recommend using the Aspect at all.
Example of Adc builds
Attack Speed:
Critical Chance:
Example of Mid builds
Attack Speed, Int and Str:
Full Int (Skills damage):
Example of Supp build
Tank cupid:
Good against / Bad against
It's good against characters with little movement and against characters weak to stuns, CC also makes Cupid an easy character to kill, junglers are also counters to Cupid.
He is a bad choice against: Bellona, Ymir, Jing Wei.
He is a good choice against: Khepri, and The Morrigan.
Combos and personal opinion
As such, the combos are not many that we can do, basically it would be stacking the entire passive then use heart bomb to stun the enemy and then share the love skill to do more damage, if we have the ultimate skill (fields of love), we can to use heart bomb then ultimate to do a stun combo.
He is one of my favorite gods, he was my first main in Smite 1. It is easy to use and understand, also fun.
It is extremely strange to see the cupid been a damage focused god, and a great one.
For the cupid I normally use a hybrid build, normally the auto build one, since it has itens that will increase both Strength and Intelligence, while increasing the attack speed, what is extremely useful for his passive! But remember you can focus on STR or INT builds, you can plan with the team the best option for each situation.
To start to understanding the Cupid we must start the auto attack and his passive, Lovestruck, the auto attack will stack hearts up to 14, and this hearts will be used to increase the power of the other skills, so this justify the fast attack in the build. The auto attack are arrows with a good range and decent damage but it counterpoint you have low health and low defence so be careful and always choose to maintain distance and use your skill wisely.
The Heartbomb his first skill will fire an arrow at the enemy, it will cause damage, it will slow the enemy and after a few seconds will explode dealing more damage, it has a good range and the only thing you need to really worry is you aim.
Share of Love is a little more complex skill and it will trow a bomb that will explode in a small area and the highlight of it is that it after the explosions 3 hearts will drop and you and your allies can pick it up to get a heal, and this fits extremely well with the Flutter that is a skill that make you dash forward and make a trail that will buff alies speed and attack. This will be perfect within group attacks where you trow a bomb and dash forward oping space for your alies to attack, while cure themselves with the hearts drop!
And filly the Fields of Love your ultra, that you create a big circle with arrows on the ground dealing a good amount of damage.
How you could see the Cupid is very simple in the most of its gameplay and the main thing to practice is to stack enough hearts before using a skill. Each skill use up to 8 hearts and more hearts more buffs your skill will have, after practising that the rest should be easy to master!
Cupid is a versatile character, usable solo, thanks to the ability to both inflict damage on the opposing team and heal his teammates. I can place Cupid among the supporting characters.
His passive skill Lovestruck allows him to increase damage, while once the bar is full he can heal his teammates. The Heart Bomb, Share the Love and Fields of Love abilities are capable of destroying opponents and healing allies at the same time.
Excellent character both for those who want to dedicate themselves to attack and for those who prefer defense. Unfortunately, however, he is not an invincible character and has significant weaknesses, such as his weakness if out of position. Even though he can inflict huge damage, he is not comparable to other deities, especially in the advanced stages of the game, being a hybrid character.
His mobility is very low, however his passive skills are quite effective. By upgrading Cupid you can get more damage and healing. Cupid is quick to attack and can accumulate Heart Stacks. Fun to play and effective for players who like to be independent. He is a powerful threat when his attacks are charged, he can stun opponents and heal the team at the same time.
Of course, don't expect to do burst damage but he is still an excellent character for those who like to contribute to the game at 360 degrees.
Cupid is a ranged physical carry specializing in crowd control, team utility, and consistent damage. His abilities focus on applying heart-themed effects to slow enemies, heal allies, and deliver powerful burst damage.

Cupid is a central figure in Roman mythology, embodying the essence of love, desire, and attraction. Frequently portrayed as a youthful, winged figure, he carries a bow and a quiver full of arrows. These arrows are not ordinary; when Cupid shoots them, they induce love in the hearts of those they pierce. His Greek equivalent is known as Eros, sharing similar attributes and roles in mythology. Cupid's influence extends beyond mere romantic love, symbolizing the passionate and sometimes capricious nature of affection in human life. His stories often intertwine with those of other gods, illustrating the complexities and powers of love in myth.

Cupid has a very important role for ranged damage. His main skill, Arrow of Love, deals a lot of damage and reduces that of the enemies hit by the arrow and with Angel Flight he can move easily and quickly, dealing damage along the entire flight. You can also use the ability Heart Hunt that will allow you to increase the health of allies. For constructions aim for objects that enhance damage and survivability such as the Bow of Devotion. He is an excellent support character but you can also use him to deal continuous damage by exploiting the various abilities in combo.
You can also take advantage of the ability to heal and restore your teammates while enemies are affected by your long-damaging strikes. Cupid can dominate both the early stages of battle and during it due to his variable potential. His ability to move along the path and heal, allows him to protect the team and inflict damage on enemies near and far.
