S-Tier

Here we have the best for pvp, like the fer-de-lance which has everything you want, the alliance which is very fast and tanks well, the federal corvette which has enormous resistance. These are all the ships that excel.

A-Tier

Here the ships border on excellence but there's always something that prevents them from going to tier S, but I'd highlight the positive points such as the Krait Mk II and its great agility and 1v1 confrontation, the mamba with its enormous speed and the vulture with its cool impact power.

B-Tier

Here you'll use them if you can, but they won't let you down completely, such as the Python which doesn't have great agility but can tank, the federal assault which you'll have good engineering, the imperial clippe which has fragile shields. I'll highlight the negative points here.

C-Tier

The anaconda on its own is slow, the viper can no longer maintain its power against the other ships and the cobra is the one that maybe I'm being unfair, but I don't like it as much.

D-Tier

The type is definitely not suitable for PVP, slow and huge, you'll be an easy target. The asp explorer, as its name implies, is for exploration.

Hello Commander :

Here's my tier of the best ships: they're classified from their combat utility, jumps, maneuverability, to their cargo capacity, in addition to the ship's speed.

In the S class:

There are the ships with the highest jumps for exploration and the best combat ships.

In the A class:

There are the ships with the most cargo and the highest speed, in addition to those for powerplay.

In the B class:

There are the fastest ships with the most armament, and others that are extremely dangerous and tough, which are not difficult to destroy.

In the C class:

I included the cargo ships, which can be used for that purpose or for travel, depending on the use, also to carry a person from point A to point B.

In the D class:

There are the starting ships in which you learn, and also ships that I don't recommend because they suffer from overheating and their armament capacity is low or poor.

In the F Class :

I've included the worst ships, which can be defeated in a matter of minutes or less with multi-cannons, or are very fragile and not suitable for PVE or PVP, or ships that only require the initial game, like the Cobra MK4.

I hope you like it.

First conceptually, before anything else in Elite Dangerous you either melt your enemy like a hot knife through butter or it's the other way around, apart from that and aside.

There are 3 PVPs in Elite in my opinion: Solo, Organic and meme!

To create my Tierlist I tried to use knowledge from what I saw out there (I'm not an expert on the subject but I can give my opinion based on years of experience).

S Tier (best of the best): They are agile ships with a good shield or good flexibility, in a balanced solo pvp they are good, Python MK2 and Fer-de-lance are the darlings

Tier A (great ships): We are a bit into the concept of organic PVP, the ships here are great but they play a role during team PVP.

Tier B (are good): The ships that I classified as B are good, I've seen several PVPs with them, they are ships that have a lot of tricks but they are not as good as A, S. Plasma Torpedo builds are the most suitable for them to shine.

Tier C (medium): We've reached a point where I didn't classify these ships as Tier D, because they're good for that role, but far from being the best. At this point, we're starting the PVP meme.

Tier D (terrible): These are the ships that I wouldn't take to PVP, only if a rule forced me to (championship) or if I wanted to make a joke (meme). Apart from that, these ships lack everything, their purpose is another.

Tier (I Don't Know): It's just to show my indignation, I wanted the Panther Clipper. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'm not the biggest pvp enthusiast, but from everything I've experienced, I think this is a good idea (I didn't comment on all the ships, I just highlighted the S-tier ones):

S-Tier (I think the best)

What makes a ship tier S is perhaps good maneuverability, good defenses and speed, I believe that the combination of these 3 is closer to the two I mentioned.

Fer-de-Lance: Perhaps the best maneuverability you'll find, along with five hardpoints and good defense, but very fragile without shields. A good ship for good players.

Mamba: Here you already have a speed machine, very interesting, I recommend it especially for short combats.

A-Tier

The ones that are here I think could easily be in S, but the ones that are there make up for points that the ones here miss, even if only by a little. It's almost like buying an iPhone from last year, you're getting something that totally satisfies you, but you know that there's something that changes very little for the better.

Python Mk II: Very good, but doesn't make the S tier due to its weight.

Federal Corvette: A real battle tank, what weighs it down is its weight, it's very slow and ends up being vulnerable.

B-Tier

These are good ships for pvp, but they are outclassed by MANY. In general, people put small ships in these tiers, but being small doesn't represent everything you necessarily need, pvp goes beyond hitting and running. You won't have any problems here.

C-Tier

Here we have the famous โ€œIf that's all you've got, okayโ€, you'll be able to have your battles, but it's far from adequate.

D-Tier

Here it's simply better not to battle and look for another activity.

How the PvP in Elite is one of the hardest aspects of the game a good ship is a must and will help you to be victorious.

S & A tiers

The PvP combat is very different from the PvE, it will require you a fast and manoeuvrable ship, so the big ships aren't the best choice, that's why the Cutter is the only one among the A and B tiers.

The only ones in the A tiers are Fer-de-Lance, the champion, a fast and very slim medium ship, it will be behind you in no time and thanks to the huge hardpoint that it has it can take even big ships in no time. The Mamba it is really fast and it will be harder to be shot, even not having the best fire power it will have a ridiculously advantage by its speed.

B tier

In this tier we have nice ships, but it normally won't have so much advantage, there are medium and one small ships that keep the advantage to be a small target and fast ones but there are two huge monsters of space, and they advantage are the fire power specially the Corvette, it can be taken town even by a Cobra mk V but if it hits you just a few times you are doomed, those ships also can have strong defences so they has so much endurance during a fight.

C tier

Those ships a suitable for combat but it has so much disadvantage in relation of the meta PvP ships that they will probably be destroyed fast against a experienced opponent.

D tier

Here most of them aren't even suitable for combat and the ones that are wont be of any help against other players, just if they use one of those ships as well. Anyway, just keep those ships for trade, mining and exploration.
