So this setup was kind already showed up in other bounty, but how I only have this one this is the same I use to work.

I always prefered to work with 2 monitors since I work with architectural projects, so it's very common I'm using it to edit and model my project while seeing the render on the other screen. And there is a plenty of more uses, some times I have to create texture in photoshop and export to the modelling soft and it helps me a lot not having to changing the windows all the time. See references is also great.

I only use a mouse and a keyboard but some times I use my Galaxy Tab S6 Lite to make plans and notes or even having a third screen haha. But it is more useful in the construction sites, since I can take pictures, make notes and take the project in digital formar with me, what is very useful .

ps. This is my cat Grogu, he always try to help me but always fail! At least he is persistent!

I use this monitor as my main screen, the laptop one usually is off, but I use it when I need to, like when dealing with multiple pdf/word archives, and its keyboard/touchpad are covered so they don't get dirty, because I, as a normal human being, use external ones haha

I have that old white iPhone SE that I use only for work, my Kindle for reading maratons, my always-at-hand notebook, some pens and a bottle of water... the other things are details, like my wallet and protein bar. But I did included an easter egg.

As a lawyer, I work basically with writting and online meetings, so I don't need anything else. Anyways, it's passed the time for an upgrade, I am a simple man, but my desk and my main monitor - which is constantly flicking - are at least a decade old lol

I have this makeshift corner where I can work and study. The headset really helps me focus on what I'm doing, and having two laptops with different OSes makes it easier for me to deal with different problems. Normally, if I'm working, I open Spotify or an interview; if I'm studying, I alternate screens so I don't get tired. I think it's worked very well.

This is my WHP setup. This is my WHP setup. Unlike my gaming setup (which I shared earlier), this one has some significant changes, though it’s in the same location.

To separate personal and work use, I rely on my phone instead of my laptop. I’ve created a unified setup where a single cable connects a mouse, keyboard, camera, monitor, and power source to either my laptop (for gaming) or my smartphone (for work).

Samsung offers a special OS mode called DeX, which automatically switches on when it detects an external monitor, providing a full desktop experience.

Another key feature is the Secure Folder, which acts as a virtual machine within the phone. It allows you to install the same apps with different credentials, creating an encrypted environment with biometric-restricted access. This environment is completely isolated from the “personal phone,” making it compliant with security requirements like PCI DSS and the ISO 27001 family.

This setup makes it easy to stay mobile and work from any location—just plug into a monitor. Or, for extreme situations, you can work directly on the phone. Say goodbye to bulky computers!

Oh calculator and notepad there for a reason! As I like numbers and work tightly with them, I tend to use this device daily. And no, the on-screen calculator not working great - you need to pull it out and typically it blocks some info on a screen.

My current WFH set up Looks like this! I mainly use this area to record Videos and work at my full time role. This area - although small is super cute. I have a nice little storage locker for my bits and bobs, always have my headphones within reach and have a great view with the window right in front of me.

As soon as I started university, I needed a form of income that would allow me to have a totally flexible schedule, since I have full-time classes in the morning and afternoon, so the schedule ended up being what allowed me to work in totally random periods haha. Even though I have a television in my room, I choose to use the PlayStation 5 as a monitor, due to its high quality, so I end up having to regulate myself a lot to keep focused on what really matters, my studies and my work. I use my tablet as a second monitor, which I had to blur because I was working for a client.

I only have one WFH day so it's really a basic setup, would make it more comfy if I had to spend more time here, but I like to move around the house when I don't use the screen. I'm like a cat, following around the sunny spots in the house ^^' Quite handy that it's using the same peripherals my laptop does which handles the streaming in my dual PC streaming setup, so all I have to do it swap the laptop over on the stand and plug it into the dock which has everything else connected.

Here’s a look at my workspace, set up for those rare days when I work remotely as a data analyst. There's my laptop on a stand so that the screen doesn't scrunch necks, coupled with a stylish red-backlit keyboard.

To the left, my Alexa device not only tells the time but also helps with quick tasks and serves as a speaker for music or laptop audio when needed. My Grinch mug is always nearby, adding a bit of fun, along with an essential oil diffuser to keep the space fresh. There’s also a photo of my twin children, intentionally blurred here to protect their privacy. Plus, a light shaped like Saturn expresses my passion for astronomy and science in general. I use a triple charger for easy access to charge my phone, watch, and earbuds all at once.

On the right is the optical mouse, a magnet from New York City, and a little piece of rock from Manhattan, a reminder of one of my favorite places on Earth. I like the inclusion of red light because it makes me feel relaxed when I am working with data. I find that each of these items not only serves a purpose but also adds to my creativity and productivity when I’m immersed in data.

I hope you enjoyed this virtual tour.

Hello, let me introduce myself. I'm Bor, a final-year student, and this is one of my setups. I’m very enthusiastic about desk setups because managing your workspace can make it comfortable for various activities, such as studying, completing assignments, and other desktop-related tasks.

I'm currently trying a minimalist theme, placing only the items I truly need to avoid distractions from other things and to create a spacious look. With this theme, I hope to keep my setup clean so it always looks attractive and comfortable.

Thank you for taking the time to read this 🤍

Similarly to others here, my work from home setup is also my gaming setup. Also have everything set for 3D printing and music recording. Jack of all trades, master of none as they say.

Well this is my work/game area in the home studio. There is a drawing table behind me and my Wife's work area is over to the left. But this is where I spend most of my time. That is my iMacPro in the middle there connected to my Wacom CintiqPro work station. I just cleaned this and decided to take a photo, and then found this bounty.

Not too sure why the JA preview makes it so blurry but I love the shelving situation! I may need to look into that for my set up

I've been working from home full time since 2018 and never looked back. On the far left we've got my camera system. My dogs bark at most things (it's usually deer). But, I would always get up to check the barking just in case. With the cameras, a quick peek will tell me if it's a car, a deer, what have you.

Next is my work laptop on a fan pad and one of my monitors. Pazuzu the cat is blocking the view to my dock, but it's a CalDigit. Very powerful and fast with tons of connectivity. You can also see my Pro FX pre-amp/mixer which I've used to record training materials before, but mostly it's for personal projects.

Finally, on the right, we've got my Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra webcam hiding behind the glass of my teleprompter which has a Lilliput 10" monitor as the screen. Again, mostly the teleprompter is used personally, but I do use it for presentations so I can keep an eye on my bullet points while keeping eye contact. Then my other monitor which I keep a little closer as my reading/query writing monitor so I don't have to squint so hard (I need glasses).

This is my WFH setup. Technically speaking, I haven't started working full-time yet since I'm still a student. However, during my summer or winter vacations, I regularly work part-time as an English teaching assistant. My boss, who used to be my English intensive course teacher during my senior high school time, is very nice and allows me to work from home when necessary.

Thanks to my job, I mostly handle text-related tasks like editing teaching scripts, recording voiceovers for English texts, and similar work. So, I don't need a particularly powerful computer , while I indeed use a very powerful computer for my job. When I work from home, I use my gaming laptop, an Asus TUF 5 Pro, and I connect it to a larger monitor to make it easier to see the text and work more efficiently. When I need to work on-site, I bring my MacBook Air M1. It's very lightweight but still powerful and has excellent battery life.

You might wonder how I manage the same documents on different computers since macOS and Windows are different systems. Well, I’d say Microsoft 365 and OneDrive are definitely amazing inventions lol.

I've probably spent a little bit too much time trying to organise, arrange and re-arrange my WFH/ Office set up with all the anime merch and art I've collected over the years.

Heres my set up 🤣.

I work as a helpline advisor for a sight loss charity so I dont need much. Work can be a little slow sometimes though, hence the warhammer, brushes and palette. I also have my gamecube set up to the left lol.

I love that your set up faces the window! Does the glare from the sunlight ever get in the way?

Paul's avatar

The sun is always to the rear of our home so its not much of an issue. Sometimes on very bright days the white building in front can cause a bit of glare though.

If you noticed, I'm a big fan of the elite dangerous game. You can tell by my computer wallpaper

Just the angle, I find more comfortable using it that way instead this way below

May I submit the same photo as for the Elite D. setup? As it the same place lol

Ford James's avatar

Hey Sturmer, not the exact same photo I'm afraid - think about how it might change when playing ED vs working. Do you adjust anything to accommodate the different needs of playing vs. working? If you play ED with any peripherals like a controller or HOTAS, do they get tidied away when you're working?

I've been slowly improving my home office for WFH too. Recently moved my arcade machine in there at the behest of my otherhalf

But will be making a video showing it all off soon

The interesting thing to me on this bounty is that practically everyone is using a laptop rather than a desktop.

Gaypengwing's avatar

I Can’t wait to have a much better setup one day but with the amount of space in my shared flat, this is what I’m working with console wise, alongside a handheld Nintendo switch for creating gameplay.

I Also, very occasionally use my MacBook to record steam gameplay but, obviously it’s never my first choice. Switching between my MacBook and phone to edit my videos, I’m having great fun creating videos about the opportunities I’ve had lately and I’m having the best time with it all. Especially when I can edit it all from bed when I’m feeling like an inside day
