Hi folks, in lieu of Member Monday this week, we’re resharing Alex Sinclair post highlighting some of Just About’s best bounty submissions, and we’ve handpicked a few extra submissions and discussions - new and old - that are particularly heartfelt, helpful, creative, and fun!
Just About is a welcoming and inclusive community where members go out of their way to support one another. We try to encourage this through open discussions around things like trust, identity (or anonymity), and even our code of conduct. Horror and Cats discussions have shown support for our neurodivergent members and the LGBTQIA+ community, and others who have been open and honest about their struggles have been met with kindness and support. That’s not the only reason our members are here. Even though our interests are diverse and changing, members hang around because they want to share, learn, and get to know one another. The payouts from bounties and organic rewards also seem to be rather popular!
In the short time JA Elite Dangerous and JA SMITE 2 have been a part of the community, we’ve seen that same supportive, and creative spirit we’ve come to know from our communities. Below you’ll find a few examples from our newest communities, as well as a few of my favourites from our more established members.
JA Elite Dangerous
What better way to get to know a community than to hear what drew people to their shared passion in the first place? The discussion below is filled with detailed replies that convey the history and importance of Elite Dangerous to its players. The next examples show off the creativity of the Elite Dangerous community, with CMDR_OptimusKoala and Élite Dangereuse offering up narrative meta-gameplay, while Moonshade Gaming narration of their encounter with the Titan Thor pulled us right into the action.
SMITE 2
Launched just this Tuesday, SMITE 2 is our brand-new community. And already we’re finding plenty of impressive and helpful posts. Keep an eye out for Sadger Weenyz BN_Bears and ChrisTD entries in the tips and resources bounty, as well as for Malum and NiteDark entries in the Mordred and Hades bounties.
