If asked to recommend just one book or comic to someone else, one all-timer that might ignite a passion for the medium, we've a suspicion most readers would struggle to narrow it down to just one. So for this reward, you don't have to! Give us three (or more, why not) of either your personal favourite books or comics, or ones that you would recommend to absolutely anyone else without knowing anything about them.
Share your recommendations in writing or video, and be sure to explain why you're making them.

Redwall by Brian Jacques
The book I've read the most by far, Redwall is a YA fantasy novel where everyone is moles, mice, rats, badgers, and other woodland creatures. The animals all have certain quirks and strengths based on their species which are all distinct and idiosyncratic, which makes interactions between multiple characters feel so much easier to keep track of without even trying.
I'd recommend it to anyone because despite "young adult" and "fantasy" may come off as not some people's bag (myself included) it is utterly charming and, if you fall in love with the first one, there are 21 more books in the series to keep you busy for quite some time.
The Wendigo by Algernon Blackwood
Even if you're not a horror fan, I'd tell most book worms to read The Wendigo due to its position in the evolution of the horror genre.
Blackwood is cited as one of H.P. Lovecraft's primary influences, making Blackwood the grandfather of cosmic horror. It's also the origin of the very 20th/21st century image of the native American myth of the wendigo, which Blackwood attributed hooves and antlers, a total fabrication to the lore. Authors like Stephen King and film makers like Guillermo Del Toro adopted this look for the creature in years to come and it's now the pop culture image most think of.
It's a novella and can likely be knocked out by a proficient reader in about two hours.
The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gillman
While Redwall is the book I've read the most, I think The Yellow Wallpaper is my favorite.
Written in easily digestible language considering the time it was first published when ridiculous verbosity was the standard, it tells an INCREDIBLE story written from the perspective of a woman suffering undiagnosed postpartum depression, anxiety, and eventually acute psychosis.
The escalation and descriptions are easily recognized and related to for anyone who suffers/has suffered mental illness and for a story over 130 years old, that's pretty impressive.
Ostensibly a psychological horror story in tone and tale, I think non-horror fans would still benefit from giving this one a read, once again for its cultural place and importance.

The hobbit as number one. It was the first book that I ever chose to read for myself and if you love fantasy, magic and a book you can get through in a night, then this is perfect. Although it will likely bring on an unhealthy obsession with everything middle earth and Tolkien.
If you are looking to get in to comics, the perfect starter is the Joker’s Dozen graphic novel. It compiles the most famous and iconic stories of dc’s most well known villain and serves as a perfect introduction to dc comics and comics as a whole.
For my third choice, I would like to say a comic that I was lucky enough to attend the launch night for, Extraman. They are new enough that there are only 3 issues to catch up on and they tell the story of an awesome British superhero.

My 3 recommendations of books and comics for horror and fantasy genre:
The hobbit: I've been a fan of fantasy most part of My life and surprisinly i didn't hace the oportunity of reading Tolkien's work. The hobbit trully is The ideal book to get into Lord of The rings world and Even in the fantasy genre, The way he describes things, characters, situations, etc., is marvelous. World building, charismatic characters, chilling Moments, suspense, this book has it all in a beautiful short story, anyone who hasn't read it, trust all of Tolkien fans, is worth it.
The shadow over innsmouth (Gou Tanabe's manga adaptation): If anyone here is a fan of horror like me, you'll enjoy this one. There has been several adaptations of H.P. Lovecrafts work to comic book format, but The ones that hace stout out to me the most in recent times are The Gou Tanabe's adaptations, he has done a wide variaty of Lovecraft's stories, So Even of you're not as interesting on this one, You can check out The other ones. This particular story i believe, that for most Lovecraft reader's is one of The most iconnic ones, The mistery, horror, and thrilling Moments are very well crafted, Gou Tanabe's illustrations bring to life all The nigthmarish horrors that Lovecraft created, they merges really well and by The last chapters you'll feel The terror of The protagonist as if You were him. Give it a try.
Solo leveling: Lastly i want to recommend something more on The light SIDE, for those that enjoy anime and that style of art, wrtting, and action. This is The story os Sung jing woo, he lives in a world where dungeons monsters and Powers are a thing, and only some people in the world are blessed with getting Powers to fight this beasts, they are called hunters, Sung is The weakest of they all but after a traumatic experience he gets a videogame like Window, asking if he wants a chance to getting stronger, and The rest is history. Is not a changing life reading, nor a complex one, is just a really fun story with amazing artwork, lots of action and everything a power fantasy has to offer, and that touch of videogame-like format makes it more enjoyable.
Hope You like My recommendations. 🙌

I highly recommend Colleen Hoover books, specifically Verity to begin with. It’s a book that I read in three days and will have you hooked instantly on its drama, twists and turns. Furthermore, you never know who to believe or who is the true evil character, which keeps you on your toes. I absolutely recommend reading Normal People, especially if you’ve been hooked on the TV adaptation of it. It follows two characters in Ireland growing up through school, university and further in life. They are thrown together and torn apart over and over again and it perfectly shows how people can be made for one another but not necessarily end up together. I would also recommend They Both Die At The End. A heartbreaking love story based in an age where you are told on your last day that you will be dying that day. It shows the panic of those who have 24 hours left to live and the ways they choose to spend their last hours.
