There are several games that promise to deliver a lot in the year 2025. But one that I'm really excited to play is Elden Ring: Nightreign. We already know that this game never disappoints, the story is impeccable, plus the setting provides a great immersion in this universe. As well as the difficulty we know haha

Now this game brings a new experience with the cooperative multiplayer mode, which is sure to provide new and much more challenging experiences. I'm really excited to face the Lord of the Night with the gang and embark on the new discoveries that Elden Ring is going to give me!!!

For a single player item, I've been kinda looking forward to ATOMFALL. It might just end up being Fallout in Britain, but I enjoyed Fallout 4 so seeing a similar take outside of the US should be a bit f fun. (I know about the London mod but haven't gotten around to that either) and it coming to Gamepass will make it a lot easier to go for it :)

For co-op, I really want to give SPLIT FICTION a try with my daughter. We had a fun time with It Takes Two and the idea of jumping between medieval and sci-fi settings looks pretty interesting.

There are several games that I plan to play in 2025, but the ones that I most look forward to and want to play are, first, the one that cannot be missed and surely everyone is waiting for it is Grand Theft Auto VI, a game that I am looking forward to, since it was one of the first games I played in my childhood and I'm excited that a new installment of this great game will finally come out, the other game was The Elder Scrolls VI but since it doesn't come out until 2026, I'll put Assassin's Creed Shadows, a saga that finally came out on a theme that I love, Feudal Japan, here we will control a ninja and a samurai, Assassin's Creed I have been playing since I was 14 years old, and I am excited about a new installment and more with this fascinating mechanics These are my two most anticipated games of 2025

The games i waiting for is:

Fable and Monster Hunter Wilds

For many years i was waiting to play a new Fable, until i fall in love for the first fable it leave in my heart a special place that other games never replace at all. I think is too long to describe the ambientation, the combat, the puzzles, housing, fishing, power, relashionship, character growing and a lot of meny activities that you can do in this awessome and underrated game. And most important the incredible story... if i think enough potencially you can discuss for a long time about it.. so i simply say that.. this game is huge! And i wish it will be like to the first one.

Monster hunter.... when i think this name my heart melting... is the cause of why my circle button of my psp was almost broken... i really love Freedom United, and since then i never found a better monster huntter, offcouse i love all the saga, but.... i just hope the new one remember me freedom united respect world version... anyway i know i will love that aswell.. even because the mount!!

DU

have great expectations for the game planned for this year... Fable. I've always played it and even more times and I must say that everything that revolves around this game makes the wait even more exciting. A well-made game, cared for in every detail that does not bore... this is the saga and I expect this new one that is about to arrive to be even better.

I

Broken Arrow..

I have longed for a new RTS game like world in conflict. Finally this games replaces the want i have for that style of game and with modern units. Control your units in an open battlefield alongside 3 other players controlling their units simultaneously and face off 4 other opponents. Units range from different types of air units and ground units (helicopters, jets, large support aircraft such as a C5 Galaxy with a 105 cannon, tanks of all kinds, infantry units with specializations and ablities, artillery) Run your luck with support and recon or dash to the frontline with the ranger regiment or cover your buddies with 3 F35 jets and dogfight SU 57s

It will be great.

Subnautica 2

I played Subnautica years ago when I first started creating content and exploring different types of games. It is a survival game and at first I did struggle, spending quite a bit of time just holding my breath and trying to level up while staying close to the pod I started the game in. Not everyone thrives in survival games, but lucky for me I had a cheat. I think it was a type of sandbox mode but I could hold my breath for as long as I needed and I was immortal! Once I was able to really explore the world it was amazing. I saw strange, scary and GIGANTIC sea monsters and all types of marine life. It had a cartooniness about it that I liked and kept it from being too scary. The ocean is terrifying. I don't think this is meant to be a horror game haha

I cant wait to try Subnautica 2! It should be an improvement on the last and offer us more than what we had the first time around. It's going to be fun! Definitely getting that when it comes out.

I'm honestly looking forward to Professor Layton and the New World of Steam! I love the Professor Layton series and I'm super pumped he's finally having a comeback after 10+ years. When the news was shown on the Nintendo Direct he was finally getting a new entry, I teared up a little bit! I'm definitely going to play the previous entries again before this releases so I have a refresh on the story!

0ffworld's avatar

As a PC gamer, there are currently only a handful of games I look forward to. It doesn't look super bright, honestly. Many other games are only planned for consoles.

GTA VI isn't going to come out this year, I assume. I've been playing these games ever since the the developer was still called DMA Design. Rockstar is still treating the franchise as if modding on PC hadn't been the one thing to keep GTA alive and relevant all through the years before GTA Online came around, so I don't plan on supporting this game even if it does release for PC in 2027. One less purchase won't matter to them but I'll be at peace.

DOOM The Dark Ages is going to be big but I will wait until reviews come out. Compared to 2016 DOOM, DOOM Eternal felt so bloated that I still haven't completed it to this day. Unless they tone things down a bit, I'll probably skip it.

So this only leaves two games for me, at the moment: Atomfall and...

Assassin's Creed Shadows

We, the AC fans, have been dreaming of an Assassin's Creed game set in feudal Japan for so many years. I was super excited when they announced that it was finally in the works. Unfortunately, it's going to release during a very difficult time for Ubisoft.

The company is struggling, some will say rightly so. Some questionable game releases, NFT stuff, legal troubles with shutdowns of live-service games and people leaving the company have all impacted Ubisoft.

Assassin's Creed Shadows was delayed last year and I, personally, am glad it didn't release in November '24. The changes they've made and shown us so far have definitely made me more excited about the game. It looks like it won't necessarily play like other third person action games where you can choose between stealth and brute force. I've loved stealth games ever since I was a kid playing early Splinter Cell games. I'm hoping this will be similar to the current-gen Tenchu game we never got. (Curse you, Sekiro!)

For work (and hobbies), I am involved with Japanese culture every day anyway, so I'm very happy that after finishing Ghost of Tsushima on PC last year, I can keep my streak of exploring Japan in open-world games going!

K

I can't wait to play Outer Worlds 2. I love the first game so much and the graphics were awesome. I'm very excited to immerse myself in the Outer Worlds quirky world again. I love the steampunk look of the game and I think it will live up to the hype. I can't wait to get to grips with the dark comedy in the game and while it doesn't sound like it will put the Outer Worlds take on capitalism as you are looking into the solar system being destroyed, I'm sure it will be there in some form or another.

GTA 6 is the most anticipated game of 2025 for several reasons, related to its cultural impact and the quality that Rockstar Games has historically guaranteed in its titles:

1. Legacy of the series: The Grand Theft Auto series is one of the most iconic in the history of video games, with each installment redefining the industry standards. GTA V, in particular, was an epochal success, with sales exceeding 185 million copies and a multiplayer that is still active and innovative.

2. Long wait: It's been more than 10 years since the release of GTA V (2013), and fans have long been waiting for a new installment. The wait has created enormous hype, fueled by leaks, teasers and speculation.

3. Quality and innovation: Rockstar is known for its attention to detail and innovation. Leaks and leaked information suggest a more realistic game, with a larger and more dynamic map, a setting inspired by South Florida (Vice City), and a narrative that could introduce an even more sophisticated multiple character system.

4. Cultural impact and marketing: GTA is a phenomenon that transcends the world of video games. The official announcement and trailers have already generated enormous attention on social media and among traditional media.

5. Technical promises: With the support of next-gen console hardware and high-end PCs, GTA 6 promises to push the limits of graphics and technology, offering a detailed and living map, realistic physics and advanced artificial intelligence.

In short, GTA 6 is not just a game, but a cultural and technological event awaited by millions of players around the world. The combination of nostalgia, anticipation and innovation makes it the most talked about title of 2025.

D

One game I am so excited to play in 2025: Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Part I was such a special experience. Set in medieval Bohemia this game feels more like a Medieval Simulator than an action game. The historical details are so accurate and immersive, the stories and characters so well written - once you commit yourself to KC:D, you can´t put it away.

The preview videos hint that Warhorse Studios will put it to the next level. So if you are in for historical medieval roleplay gaming, without sorcery, high elves or dragons, this is for you!

So, GTA VI is one of the most obvious games in this list, and of course is the game I anticipate the most. As a big fan of the series, since San Andreas that was the first GTA game that I’ve played. With the trailer that already has some time that was shown to us my expectations are high, a modern Vice City with tons of things to do, if the game gets half of the amount of things to do the game will be amazing, there is no company that does sandbox elements better than Rockstar.

Elden Ring: Night Reign

I've always been a sucker for FromSoft games, and Elden Ring, without a doubt, has been one of the best they've made. Now just recently I've discovered Monster Hunter (I know, I just didn't have friends to play the game with until recently, that's why the late discovery), and it seems to be like a game where you're just constantly fighting Souls bosses. And now FromSoftware themselves are gonna make a Souls game with that premise! Of course it's gonna be my most hyped upcoming game!

DU

The game I'm looking forward to the most is absolutely FABLE, also because I grew up with the saga and played FABLE LEGENDS for an entire year before it was cancelled, so since then I've been waiting and hoping that FABLE will be reborn with a new title , and Microsoft eventually convinced itself to do so, even after LIONHEAD STUDIOS closed.

Since it was announced with a Teaser that I'm waiting for it, then when I saw the GAMEPLAY, the Hype skyrocketed. I just hope it stays true to the original trilogy, and doesn't ruin the experience in any way, also because FABLE was one of a kind. From the gameplay shown it is possible to get an idea of what awaits us.

Although 2025 is full of very good titles, FABLE for me is ahead of everyone, and I hope it comes out as soon as possible.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/w6TJTHdgmts?feature=oembed

S

the game I'm waiting for in 2025 are different the first and Fatal Fury City of the Wolves, after many years the legendary SNK saga returns, it was since the arcades that we hadn't seen a Fatal Fury apart from the presence of some characters in King of Fighter like Terry Bogard, I can't wait to try this fighting game hoping it won't be postponed. then it's a series that I really like and I can't wait to play this chapter too, hoping it doesn't disappoint me.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/lHjjlpCoBOQ?feature=oembed

another game I'm waiting for is Elden Ring Nightreign announced by TGA, I love Elden RIng and I can't wait to play that one too. from the videos shown you can see the players fighting against various bosses in a vast way even if the graphics seem the same as Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is the only game where I tried to do just one Run facing all the bosses and collecting as many objects as possible and completing the quests, in over 200 hours of gameplay to which we must add the DLC Shadow of the Erdtree I completed both the base game and the DLC in about 255 hours, I also took every achievement of the game and I assume that Nightreign is a really beautiful and also difficult game, then the possibility of playing it in co-op is much more intriguing.

I’m truly passionate about video games, and I often look forward to indie games because they offer such a great variety of worlds and content. However, I’m especially excited for Hello Kitty Island Adventure to come to PC. I played it back in the Arcade days, and it completely won me over with how chill it is and the fact that I get to hang out with Sanrio characters. I can’t wait to play it again!

Man, anyone who says different is crazy hahaha. The most eagerly awaited game in the world is GTA VI!

GTA V continues to break sales records every month, and the game is simply surreal good, the expectation of the sequel, thinking of all the investment Rockstar is making, is immense! The more complex gameplay, the beautiful graphics, the huge map, the promises of artificial intelligence in the game, the promised living world, and the impact this will have on the gaming world (other games don't want to release next to GTA VI). There are many reasons why this game is eagerly awaited by those who want to play it and those who don't!

CMDR Henckes's avatar

For me the Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet, the greatest surprise for me specially berceuse I never expected to see the Naughty Dog making a game with this thematic, and with my personal experience with other games from this Developer I think it will be excellent, and the trailer showed us almost a plot you be investigating and reviling the truth slowly while you playing.

🔴 GRAND THEFT AUTO VI YEAH..!! 🔴

Of course my most anticipated game has to be the great Grand Theft Auto number 6 and seeing the previous installments it makes me very excited to see how the power of the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 5 Pro can be used

to show the big cities, the cars, the people, the changing weather and many other things.

I remember to show Vice City to my ex girlfriend (Ex Wife) and because she doesn’t like videogames l drive a car and let on the beach 🏖️ meanwhile we hear the song 🎶 Broken Wings and we saw how change from afternoon to night and start to raining and she starting to love the game

I'm waiting to see what the people at Rockstar are going to surprise us with and of course, like many others, I'm waiting for this game minute by minute.

Let’s participate it 💪🏼

Most we all waiting for GTA 6. cant wait for the release date because several sources say this will be the game in GTA history with the largest map and very realistic graphics, it doest hurt to wait this long. I hope this game has a good storyline and lots of plot twists

Kingdom come deliverence 2

I absolutely love the first game. It may not be everyones cup of tea but once you get it, its brilliant. The sequal will continue the story of Henry and from what I have seen, the devs have stuck to the realism but have streamlined some of the mechanics.

It is out in March and this will be the one hame I wilp be pre ordering!

M

For me it will be Monster Hunter Wilds, it is one of the best games I have ever played and I am looking forward to this new installment coming out, one of my favorites was Monster Hunter 3 After the success of Monster Hunter World, this will be the biggest surprise for the fans.

Most Anticipated Video Game Releases of 2025

As a passionate gamer, 2025 is shaping up to be an incredible year for gaming, with a lineup of highly anticipated titles that promise to push the boundaries of storytelling, gameplay, and immersion. Here are the games I’m most excited about and why:

1. Elden Ring II

FromSoftware’s sequel to the groundbreaking Elden Ring is a no-brainer for many gamers. The original revolutionized open-world RPGs with its interconnected world, deep lore, and challenging gameplay. With promises of a more dynamic narrative, expanded combat mechanics, and new areas to explore, Elden Ring II is set to redefine the genre yet again.

2. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Eternity

Nintendo’s next entry in the Zelda series has me counting down the days. Building on the success of Tears of the Kingdom, this title reportedly explores a darker narrative while introducing time-manipulation mechanics. The prospect of diving into an evolved Hyrule with an emotional storyline is irresistible.

3. Project Horizon

Guerrilla Games’ upcoming IP, tentatively called Project Horizon, is rumored to blend the mechanical beasts of Horizon Zero Dawn with a futuristic, cyberpunk-inspired world. The idea of merging lush natural environments with neon-lit dystopias could create a visually stunning and mechanically innovative experience.

4. Star Wars: Imperial Dominion

As a fan of both Star Wars and deep strategy games, Imperial Dominion—a blend of real-tim

e strategy and immersive storytelling—has my full attention. Leading factions across the galaxy and experiencing untold stories of the Empire sounds like an adventure I’ll lose countless hours to.

5. Hades II

Supergiant Games already confirmed Hades II is in early access, but its full release in 2025 is one of my top picks. The original captured lightning in a bottle with its addictive roguelike gameplay and rich mythology, and I can’t wait to see how they expand on this formula with new gods, mechanics, and characters.

Dave's avatar

It’s GTA VI of course but to add some variety, my next most anticipated is probably Civilisations VII.

I’ve played practically every version of civ since the first one including some spin offs. The series is easily my most played out of everything. I actually wasn’t too keen on CIV 6 & prefer 5, hopefully 7 is a return to form (for me personally). I know at least one friend who is getting it on launch as well so hopefully can play some multiplayer while the enthusiasm is still high to make time to play it.

If Rockstar doesn't postpone it, obviously it is Grand Theft Auto VI, currently the most expected game in the world!

The most hyped game in the world, the franchise that made me love video games, the franchise that have changed all the game industry: simply Grand Theft Auto!

Hunter's avatar

Count me one of the Millions that are waiting DS 2 maybe/hope in 2025, the story that kojima can tell in his games always surprises and with new characters now introduced to the world of Strand will make it more intriguing as shown here in this trailer 10 months ago :

https://www.youtube.com/embed/wbLstJHlC4U?feature=oembed

I played many hours into the first one and I am sur this one will take more !

Horror and Cats's avatar

Genuinely I'm most excited for Post Trauma. It's an immensely promising indie game which has been delayed, cancelled, rescheduled, delayed again.

It looks like all the best bits of Silent Hill and Resident Evil mashed together and when it comes to faithful horror releases, indie/double-A is the way to go in my experience.

Super excited.

M

Looking forward to seeing what the Verse Project is like:

https://www.youtube.com/embed/wVbBCIhqYf4?feature=oembed

Hard to tell from the cutscenes in the trailer what the gameplay will be like exactly. It's meant to be a multiplayer game and contain a 1:1 scale of our solar system, so will be interesting to see if they can pull that off and if so what the take up will be.

B

Metroid Prime 4 is, without a doubt, my most wanted title for the year 2025. Metroidvanias is my favorite genre, because of their perfect mix of exploration, progression, and action gameplay. Metroid, being the originator and cornerstone of this genre, deserve a special place as a fan. The prospect of anather entry in the Prime series, which brings this formula into 3 dimensions, fills me with hype, even if I do not own a Switch. (And probably not going to buy one just for a game. Gotta play it the old way. XD)

Limal's avatar

The game I’m most looking forward to is Fable.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, the new installment is being developed by a different studio without Peter Molyneux's involvement. I’ve always admired his "next-gen" approach to gaming, as each of his titles introduced unique experiences and groundbreaking mechanics (Fable, Dungeon keeper, Black and White).

That said, I’m optimistic that the new Fable will live up to its legacy! I’ll dig through my archives and try to find some old screenshots from Fable III to update this post.

And Pokemon Legends: Z-A and it's Lumiose City journey, hopefully on a Switch 2!

For me, Monster Hunter Wilds. I'm a big fan of Monster Hunter games, I've played them all so far and this one will be no exception. I've already pre-ordered it (I even bought the Premium Deluxe version) and I can't wait to start playing it. Unfortunately, I'll still have to wait until the end of February.

I only play New World the whole year, but for 2025 this is the only videogame that i will put my teeth in it, after watching the trailers and gameplay it feels like a Britsh Fallout, inside of me i feel of good vibes about it, just hope they improve AI behavior and shooting and meele attack animations.

Personaly i wish the best to the boys of Rebellion so they could deliver us a good game like they did with others titles. 😀

Doom the Dark Ages is my most anticipated game of 2025. For sure as you can see from my avatar, i love Doom whole saga. Dark Ages gets in the way between the event of doom eternal and doom 2016 (or at least from what we could understand from trailers). Of course i'm excited to play and the most thing I want to try is the big f****king mech. In eternal we can see only detroyed or in the final battle, but the idea of pilot one just make me goosebumps. A new step to play in doom saga and if some purists don't like it its ok, i like for them too.

As 2025 approaches, one game I'm incredibly excited about is Monster Hunter Wilds. As someone who loves exploration, combat, and grinding, this game has all the elements I enjoy. The open-world concept offers a new level of immersion, allowing me to explore vast environments and face off against monsters that range from cute to terrifying. The thrill of battling massive creatures, crafting new gear, and grinding for resources with friends makes it even more exciting. I’m really looking forward to hunting with my party, as there’s nothing better than tackling epic challenges together!

Thank You :)

E

It HAS to be Titan Quest 2!

TItan Quest 1 was one of the most entertaining ARPGs that I've played from that era- it was heavily inspired by Diablo 2, as all ARPGs of the time were, but put a unique mythological spin on it combined with brighter visuals and more fantastical settings, which really appealed to my Percy Jackson brainrot at the time.

Titan Quest 2 is such a massive jump in fidelity, quality, game feel, etc, that I think it will be a smashing success. It plans to release in early access early winter 2025, and I simply cannot wait to play. Also, the trailers are absolutely amazing.

The year 2025 is shaping up to be exciting, with several big titles getting new releases and a few dark horses poised to shake up the industry—though I can't discuss them due to NDAs.

If I had to choose one title that tops my list, it’s the Gothic 1 Remake.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1297900/Gothic_1_Remake/

While no official release date has been announced yet, the game already looks quite polished based on what I saw at Gamescom behind closed doors.

This is the kind of game you play once and fall in love with forever. A modern overhaul of such a beloved classic is a fantastic gift for nostalgia-driven fans.

Followed by Doom, #3 is Fable.

Boomer's avatar

Gothic totally passed me by but I'm sooooo excited for the new Fable! I know it won't be the same as the Lionhead ones and that's fine, but it'll be such a nostalgia trip to explore the goofy British world again 🐔

SWORN

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1763250/SWORN/

I love the setting of the dark Arthurian world. I'm more into RPGs, but I tend to try other games if they have a historical setting, or in this case a twisted historical setting.

They say it is like Hades but multiplayer, I never played Hades so can't comment on that, but tried it in beta with my friends and it was quite fun, so looking forward to see the full game. To me it was giving Diablo vibes. No surprise that I settled with a healer / caster role as usual.

L

I am waiting for Master Kojima:

Death Stranding 2: On the beach. Narrative and treating audience like an adult (when they are the target of the game) are the most important things for me in a game, along with gameplay. Therefore, my option is very clear. I understand that it has a very special approach and some players can find it boring, but how Kojima and his team work in every detail is always outstanding.

avrona's avatar

Definitely Subnautica 2. The original and Below Zero are some of my favourite games ever due to their exploration, atmosphere, and a just big enough bit of horror. While Below Zero didn't feel like this next big evolution, and more like this addon DLC, a whole new entry with a fresh new identity, and of course the power of UE5, will be huge. It's especially going to come in helpful to make the game more immersive and breathtaking, but of course that's just one half of it. The other is just the creative designs of the environments, creatures, etc. so hoping they will also be able to surprise us there.

Shovel's avatar

INkoNBII on Nintendo Switch, Steam or PS5 is, without a doubt, my most-anticipated game of 2025. From what I can see in the trailer and the gameplay so far, this combines aesthetics with gameplay that speaks a lot to me, organizing things and management. It's about being a daughter who helps her grandma out with running the convenience store-stocking shelves, serving customers, and keeping it all moving. Such a charming premise, and I am hyped to dive into the world that's prepared here.

I just finished playing In This Bed We Made and, while that was a lot more decision-based gameplay, I really enjoyed the little tidbits of cleaning, like making beds and mopping floors. It's just something so satisfying in a game with small, detailed tasks. iNkoNBII seems like it is going to take that same feel and then lay a heartwarming story over the top of it. I'm counting down the days until I can jump into this cosy adventure of tidying up! I thought I would see this in 2024, but as it's the final week of this year, I hope to see it in 2025.

apricothdaenya's avatar

I have turned to cozy games for well over a year but every so often, I will jump into a survival game (like Valheim or V-Rising). Within a survival game sphere, I am really looking forward to Dune: Awakening. I have read all of the books, seen all of the movies/series. I feel Dune: Awakening is going to be quite the gem for 2025.

Definitely Death Stranding 2.

I wasn’t very interested in this game when it first released, since most people called it a ‘walking simulator’. But during the COVID pandemic, I decided to give it a try since I got nothing to do. And I instantly fell in love with the story, artistic style and music of it. Moreover, Hideo Kojima invited many of my favorite actors (Léa Seydoux, Mads Mikkelsen, Norman Reedus) to act as the major roles lol.

The game is definitely a great piece of art, a great interactive movie. And I just can’t wait to experience more.

Based on the development hell it's been going through for nearly 5 years now, I know to temper my expectations, but my most-anticipated game for 2025 is Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/532790/Vampire_The_Masquerade__Bloodlines_2/

The World of Darkness is a very cool setting that I"ve been interested in since my first exposure to it. Unfortunately the first game is more than somewhat dated at this point, and in my tabletop group I'm the only person interested in running the system, so I don't have the chance to actually engage with it very often. Bloodlines 2 will give me that chance.

Alternatively, since VTMB2 is still TBA 2025 and therefore could easily be pushed back, a game I'm eagerly awaiting that I know for a fact is coming out in the new year (January 10th specifically) is The Shadow Over Cyberspace.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2982530/The_Shadow_Over_Cyberspace/

It's a visual novel from the folks at Fiction Factory Games, and the top-level premise basically boils down to "What if Y2K was real and Eldritch in nature?" Fiction Factory are a great team, and their three previous releases are absolutely worth checking out if you enjoy or are interested in Visual Novels.

And did I mention that Shadow Over Cyberspace is going to be free?

Boomer's avatar

I totally forgot I pre-ordered Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines 2!

The little they've shared looks awesome and there's so much they could do with the world. I just hope it sees the light of day...so to speak.

If you already knew the city of Nivalis as a ‘delivery girl’ in Cloudpunk, now you will be able to live the city completely in this project that looks like a great game. For all of us who love Cyberpunk aesthetics, retro, and life simulators.

Yes, Your Grace: Snowfall - Brave At Night

Soon we will have the sequel to Yes, Your Grace, a brutal kingdom management game with a beautiful pixel art graphic style that is not just a pretty facade, but a gem to enjoy from start to finish.

I mention these 2 games because, apart from the fact that I love the initial games they are based on, and I can't wait for these new ones to come out, I like to give visibility to projects and companies that are not AAA... supporting small/medium developers and publishers I think is also beneficial for the industry.

The game I am most looking forward to in 2025 right now is Assetto Corsa EVO, being a big fan of driving, especially cars. I have always liked Assetto Corsa for its fidelity in car models and tracks and its physics are very accurate in each chapter.

It has to be the GOAT GTA VI.

It's already the most culturally hyped game in modern times and rightly so. RockStar has rarely missed when it comes to putting out quality games. The GTA series is one of the few games that transcends the medium. Even those that haven't heard of video games passed pac man and pong will know of the violent rage simulator GTA and after a decade of waiting we will now see a new main stay instalment.

I am so ready for this
(sorry PC players, you're gonna have to wait this one out)

I think this is the big one if it gets release in 2025. Realistically, I expect it will be delayed to 2026 but we'll have to wait and see.

Makster's avatar

any reason why you expect it to be delayed?

Why do YOU think it will be delayed?

Firstly - call out is not unwarranted, could've just commented.

Secondly:

GTA IV - intended to be released in 2007 and then delayed to 2008
GTA V - intended to be released in Q2 2013 and then delayed to Q3 2013
Red Dead 2 - intended to be released 2017 and then delayed to 2018.

Can you spot the trend?

I have no substatiated reason. I just think because it's a big one with a lot of hype that Rockstar will want to be as perfect as it can be before it gets released. I tend to think this way anyway because a lot of big projects tend to get delayed.

The attention to historical detail and the environments in the first game was simply staggering. The level of interaction you could have with the NPCs and the world around you was like nothing else on the market at the time, certainly for a smaller studio.

I can't wait to see how they build on this experience with the next installment, the story and characters in the first game were wonderful yet authentic. I'm hoping they make the combat system a little easier to understand, I didn't like it at all in the first game so I avoided combat as much as I could. It was also one of my first videos as a content creator, the devs even took time to watch and like the video. So this game holds a special place for me!

GTA VI

I have hundreds of hours in GTA 5 during which I had a lot of fun on this map that most people know, that's why I'm very excited about GTA 6 which is the most anticipated game of next year, which was confirmed even on TGA. Rockstar has been working on the game for years and looking at their previous games, I don't believe that anything could go wrong. This will undoubtedly be a game that will change the gaming market forever.

Hey, you made it as a comment, not sub!

“Parallel Colony” is a groundbreaking survival game from Parallel Studios, slated for release on the Solana blockchain in 2025. It features an AI-driven "1.5 player" mechanic where players guide rather than control AI avatars that develop unique traits and goals. This setup offers a blend of strategy and economic gameplay, with players influencing their AI through suggestions. The game's alpha version is expected in late 2024 or early 2025, creating buzz in both the crypto and gaming worlds, significantly impacting the PRIME token's value.

I'm really a Fallout fan, but I think Fallout 5 is definitely not coming for now. But there is always hope for a remaster of an old title. I really would appreciate playing the good old Fallout 3 remastered. I know there are good remaster mods for Fallout 3, but hey, they could do that. They have momentum thanks to the Fallout streaming series, so why not? But ok, its just a wish. Let's wait and see what happens...
